Just had a quick realization while browsing Engadget.com
I would love some other opinions on this.
On Today's timeline feed, they have their top stories. One of the stories is about Grindr offering mens clothing now.
THe thumbnail for this picture is two guys lifting weights. Their attire is a little 'suspect'.
But my thought process was this :
Why is being concerned with your physical health sometimes equated to homosexual men ?
I could be mistaken, but I feel like a common trope/sterotype is the glamorized homo's to be physically fit, well groomed, overall good looking men.
This has to be playing into the media's overall goal?
I just feel like it's total bullshit, and I can see how some men can be turnt off towards making their presentation top priority.
"If I try to hard, people will think I'm gay"
"Best to just not try at all, so no one suspects anything".

IN NO WAY AM I ADVOCATING AGAINST LIFTING AND MAKING YOUR PERSONAL APPEARANCE TOP PRIORITY.
