Dancing classes. Or any classes, I figure. I love taking salsa/bachata/brazillian zouk/kizomba dance classes, I'm in a medium size city. And sometimes their are cuties in the classes. Just my 2cents.

I will agree that Pimsleur audio books is awesome ! Currently learning SPanish and Mandarin (at the SAME DAMN TIME) Check my math bitches !!! 5 Units all containing ~30 lessons. Each lesson is 30 minutes 30minutes x 30 lessons = 900 minutes 900 minutes = 15 hours 5 volumes with 15 hours of learning content = 75 hours) If you can stick with it, you can definitely develop an "American Accent" proficiency in a language.

That book is on my reading list, but I will definitely be moving it up the list. All you can do is work like crazy to achieve the best result you can, with the resources you have, and with what you know. This is what I am currently working on. I have this feeling of self shame because I focus on what should be. Just writing it out and talking with someone helps though man. It helps me understand 'Self Compassion' Im so eager to beat myself up over my mistakes/shortcomings. Self compassion, accep…

So I have homies, I honestly have plenty of male friends. But do I feel safe enough with these people to open up and express my feelings? No. If that is the definition of friends, then maybe I only have acquaintances. When I express my feelings, I feel like I am putting a burden of pressure/performance on the other individual. illogical, perhaps. But this is just how I interpret the situation. Maybe because as a man, we often want to fix problems.

Dude I love stoicism. But I'm contemplating if my interpretations of it are wrong. Is it adding to this facade of mine ? I have already read: A guide to the good life by William Braxton Irvine Meditations by Marcus Aurelius Both were great books, so any more recommendations are welcome.

Oh man! I have been looking for a therapist. And yes that is definitely my next step. To be in a safe environment where I can just express my thoughts and feelings, sounds so wonderful. For now I will have to write. Any tips on finding a therapist? How did you find yours? What should I Look for? I plan on seeing AT LEAST two -a male and female. And then comparing them, to see which I like more.

Understood. Speaking with another individual, I think I know my problem. I have this feeling of self shame because I focus on what should be. I want to post this because this guy really helped me think about some things. I post this in hopes that someone else can benefit from this man's wise words. /u/Frigzy Because you focus on what should be, you are preventing yourself from accepting the situation and by extension who you are at that point. Because you can not accept it, your will prevent you…

Law 13: When asking for help, appeal to peoples self-interest. Never to their mercy or gratitude. Law 32: Play to peoples fantasies. Never promise improvement through hard work. Never appeal to truth and reality, build up romance or fantasy. Everyone flocks to it. Law 37: Create compelling spectacles. If I have to explain myself, my power is already in question. Appeal to emotions and they will come. Get creative with your shows, gentlemen. Applause is a powerful thing to make a girl do for you.

Just a rough outline/guide. Find what works best for you playa. I look at it as. "I need you to protect me" meaning - If I have to get involved this situation could escelate to blood being shed, fist thrown, cops involved = a bad night. If you can stop this situation before I get involved, this is best for all parties.

I have to add to this conversation. Because I have been practicing wing Chun for ~4 years. Kroww is making a lot of blanket statements, with not much to back it up. BUT, I will have to be objective about this topic. My wing Chun practice is a little stagnant. We practice forms, and we have our 2 man drills. But you do not start to get into the active drills into ~1-2 years in. To say that Wing chun is "something that is not proven to work". "Is just your opinion man" MMA is a mixed martial arts,…

the value of denying a woman sex I have seen comments on this. Some of the arguments against it were that if you deny a woman sex, she can just go get it from someone else. Since people want what they can't have, maybe you might stand out in her mind. Sadly, I don't get paid enough to interpret how women think.

"By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest." - Confucius I am curious how are "experience" and "reflection" different ? Both appear as if they are learning opportunities.

I always try to remember that I am what I do, not what I think. Think of what you did every day of the past week, thats who you are. Not your plans for tomorrow, nor the distant future. Act now in the living present with what you learned here as a guide. It has helped me and many others, it will help you. I like !

I hated doing back squats in High School. That pressure of the bar on my back neck/shoulders is unpleasant to me. There is no excuse for me not doing front squats. So Starting Tomorrow, Wednesday 8/10/2016 I will start to incorporate Front Squats. Thanks for asking that question.

I don't understand what you are saying. Are you trying to say that "deadlift, bench and OHP" all help with replacing squats ? Call me a bitch, but I don't squat. My leg day includes: Leg Press (225 lbs), Calf Press (90lbs), Dead Lifts (185 lbs), Abductor Machine, Adductor Machine, walking lunges with dumbbells (60lbs each hand)

Thankfully, nothing you said is new to me. Still much appreciated though. My current job will FULLY pay for my master's degree in entrepreneurship. Sadly, I do have student debt (30k) but I am paying more than my monthly minimum. I still live with my parents, so my rent is hella cheap ($320/month) And thankfully my dad is in no rush to kick me out. I make $50k annually, 25 years old. I feel like I have to take advantage of the free educational opportunity I am being offered. But my end goal is s…

she said exactly what she wanted you to hear. Not what she actually meant. Copy pasta from another user: " Never forget:by the time you meet a woman and decide that you'd like to have sex with her, she's had years and years of manipulating men to do as she wants and view her in a manner that's beneficial to her. a woman has practiced since an early age, via her little-girl tantrums that turn into teenage sulking and, eventually, adult manipulation. Law 38: Think as you like, but behave like others. Blend in (In any/every context. I can think and say two diff. things.) The need to try and show my difference, will make me disliked. When you g…
