Essentially, an apology is like a shit test. Women and society will beseech your apology in an effort to see if you are a beta and unable to stand by your actions. "Are you a beta?" they will subconsciously ask, as they prepare a hasty guilt-ridden comment. These days they hardly even have to ask anymore, "men" are freely handing out apologies like prayers on Sunday. If you apologize, hand in your cards. You are no longer a threat.
A man acts with intentionality. His word and deed are grounded by fundamental purpose. As the primary designer and originator of this purpose, a man accepts full responsibility for any outcome of his actions. This responsibility is not shared, because overall responsibility cannot be delegated. Therefore, very few things a man does are "by mistake."
Women, on the other hand, everything they do seems to be accidental. Lacking fundamental purpose and intentionality, women meander through the gray, groping like blinded babes at whatever indiscretion happens to pass. They are like a sentence written in passive voice: "mistakes were made." Made by whom? Exactly. This is what happens when you do not comprehend responsibility.
Whenever someone asks you to apologize, or the social atmosphere begs your apology - stop and think. If you had acted like a man ought to, there is no apologizing. You did what you wanted to do. You may have caused damage or hurt someone, but that was your will. That was your intention. What are you apologizing for?
Bear this is mind next time you 'apologize' for something. Even small things, like getting in someone's way at the supermarket. Don't endenger an apologetic personality by saying sorry. Common courtesy is saying "Excuse me" and moving out with a purpose.
Real world example: When Germany cried for Sigmar Gabriel to apologize for flipping his middle finger to a bunch of Nazi protestors in August, his response was that "his only mistake was not using both hands." That shut everyone up really quick, because they knew they were dealing with someone who owns his actions. A leader, not a follower.
