Here's the previous post I wrote about ending a relationship once I decided to embrace the truth of the red pill. Well, fast forward a little more than a month, and I'm eating healthier, exercising regularly, and spending a lot of quality male companionship time to get me thinking like the Alpha I need to be. I've been reading through Roosh, Roissy, and assorted other red pill blogs. I'm one-hundred percent focused on 1) getting my head in the right place, and 2) getting my life together and living for my own purpose. I'm trying to flush the remnants of the blue pill out of my system for good.

There are still roadblocks. There are still patches of rough ground. I don't have a permanent residence yet, it's taking longer than expected. I'm considerably worse off financially - I'm still in the same hourly-wage job, making the same rate, but now without another income to fall back on. I'm expanding my social circle of both men and women, but it's very slow going, which can get discouraging. But I'm not letting it get me down.

Here's where the request for advice comes in. I'm trying to establish friendly contact with an ex - not my most recent ex, but the one before her. This is in pursuit of a FWB situation only, I don't want to fall back into the serial monogamy trap. She was quite the little nympho several years ago, so I'm pretty sure she'd go for it if my game is good. But I'm also second-guessing myself a bit. Is it really a good idea for me to get into something like this, so soon after taking the red pill? I realize no one can answer that question for me, but if some of you have insight, I'd appreciate it.

Some more details: the decision to end the relationship was hers. It began as a summer fling while she was in town visiting friends, but our chemistry was amazing and my blue pill self was afraid of giving something like that up at the time. So I talked her into a LDR. Obviously a stupid decision, and after a few months it was over. Ended amicably enough, but there has been no contact since then. I'm interested in re-establishing now because she has moved to town permanently. My only attempt to contact thus far has been a Facebook friend request, sent a few minutes before I decided to write this post.
