I guess it -- my journey here -- must have started when I discovered my brother's lifeless body on the floor of his kitchen. The gendarmes came by and talked to me as the next of kin, wanting to know the exact circumstances -- did I know he had tried to escape to Syria (I did not), did I know he'd fathered a child (I did not), what sort of brother was I that I didn't know what was going on (a distant one) and so on. Satisfied, they presented me with his effects -- a passport, a laptop, and photos. The lad was just 24.

I opened the computer and guessed the password, no problem. The rest of the passwords were stored in his browser -- easy. These included his reddit password, which I never used, but I did look through the guy's post history, which included this subreddit along with others that I knew aligned with his tastes. I moved out of Belgium -- the place had too many bad memories.

So, I started reading, I read through the sidebar, I read through a lot of posts on here -- some from ECs, some not.

My motivation from being here is to find out what happened to my brother and, how, if at all, TRP or any of his other subreddits influenced him to take his life.

So far, I've been here for almost a year, and from what I've read, trp is a group of abrasive, but well-meaning men -- it wasn't this place that caused him to off himself, from what I see.

Now, I will give you fine redditors my understanding of the red pill. It is not a cult. The healthy RPer doesn't want to harm his BP brethren, nor do we want to harm women. Women are a sideshow to RP, at least to me.

So, what does M23W0OH7FV2t think is the fundamental truth of RP? Pretty bluntly, it's put yourself 1^st . No, don't fold in front of the model-esque girl at the bar. No, don't kow-tow in front of your boss. Don't let the loudmouth in the club push you around -- stand your ground. You have as much right to occupy the space you do as anyone else.

When you speak, speak with confidence. Acknowledge superiority, but don't be cowed by it, for it is possible for you to exceed any other guy provided you put in the hard work. We're all born the same -- helpless. Realise this and help others that have shown the wherewithal to deserve your help.
