It doesn't matter what I do or don't reckon -- I'm not in Australia. Furthermore, I have a paycheque to worry about too much to devote time to domestic violence funding or any of the other political garbage that permeates society. It simply doesn't matter to me if MRSA is found in a faraway hospital or if a school shooting occurs in Colorado. I'm 9 timezones, half a continent, and one ocean away from Columbine (or Port Arthur) and have my own set of problems to worry about.

Might I suggest that it is time for you to stand up and be counted? Infiltrate the lower levels of the civil service, and get the funds dispersed in a manner more to your liking.
/r/MensRights06/03/19 10:36 AM

Does the legislation authorizing the funding specifically mention that it is to be targeted at women?

I go to bars 2-3 times a week. Nightclubs annoy my spergian sensibilities. I'm not nervous, hence, I can chat them up without issue.

Most guys are low level game guys. They maybe try to approach 1 girl a month. If that girl says no, there goes his practice for the whole month. Really inefficient way and high stakes. This guy marries the first hot girl that me can get. When I do get out, I talk to everyone, guy or girl. Some get annoyed and I've been asked to leave venues on several occasions, having been told that I'm "annoying customers" by doormen. Occasionally, I get numbers and they usually come with business cards and do…

it's like a light switch I can turn on at the nightclub and turn off when I'm at home watching Netflix. I am very affable, very willing to go chat anyone up. But, it's the efficiency could be better, if that makes sense?

I'll need to know soft skillwise what you're looking to improve I'm not sure you can, as I feel to improve, you (or anyone else) needs to be here, with me, and go out with me, telling me, in my ear that, "hey see that, she wants x" or "recognize the eyes roaming as he's not attentive" or whatever. Just the very basics of non-verbal queues.

you're low to mid tier I'm somewhere between entry-level and mid-tier. I'm a data analyst at a bank. Got started late (completing bachelors in my mid 30s); a ne'er do well till my brother's suicide. Decided to sort myself out and so completed my bachelors (in comp sci), and a cousin got me this job.
/r/askTRP25/02/19 08:24 AM
1

Sometimes luck can trump skill in moving faster in this tier. But if you don't have luck, you need skill. I'd argue one needs both, but one can get ahead easier without (as good) skills as one might expect. We just had promotions at work, and a lady who has been here 8 months (or thereabouts) was promoted ahead of me, who has been here 2 years. She happened to have been assigned a deal that went better than the ones I was assigned to. That is luck, as we draw lots to determine which projects we …

Think they want the dude that can't even do his own job to be on charge of 200? The skills one needs to be "on charge of 200" are different than those one needs to do any of the 200 jobs that are managed. An effective organization recognises this and promotes people accordingly. This is why people plateau in their professions.
/r/askTRP25/02/19 04:19 AM
1

Promotion is largely a function of luck. My cousin did worse than I throughout education, but he was in the Netherlands whereas I was in Belgium. As a result, he was able to get a scholarship to go to college in America, whereas I had to stay in Europe. Then my brother committed suicide, which threw another wrench in my life, my wife left me. Then said cousin got me a job in Denmark and I've been slowly putting my life back together.

Lots of classes are "total bullshit". I had to take classes in German, French, and English, growing up in Flanders. I now live in Denmark and haven't uttered a word in French since sitting for my Bac.

I wonder how much of this is linguistic in nature -- English has no distinction (that I can find) between long-term and short-term happiness. So, people conflate the two. After a period of sex (or lifting or whatever), one enters a temporary state of bliss -- the key word being "temporary". And we seek to find the same "high" and persist it.

Our workplace hierarchies are based upon competency In my experience, the higher up one goes in a hierarchy, the better their soft skills. The older quants in a bank, will not be as familiar with the latest tools of the trade but are better at managing the personalities/egos of those who are. Managing people was not taught in school.

They feel guilty because the sub is comprised exclusively of the 1.6% indicated? Seriously, though, they're a bunch of cartoon characters who think they are entitled to women by virtue of their existence. When they find they can't get the girl they want, very rarely are they introspective, rather they blame others.

Women and men (and everything in between) are more alike than we are different. If it's not that one is fat, one is discriminated against because of one's religion, if not that, it's race, if not that, it's football club, if not that...

To quote the great British comedian, Marcus Brigstocke, "I'll have a go": AWALT seeks to apply universality where there is none. Hypergamy is common among both genders. A survey commissioned this year of 200 people, 58% of men and 65% of women said their partners committed infidelity, a not-statistically-significant approximately 4% difference.

If you're looking for a formula, this isn't physics or maths. Every human is unique. Yes, I know theory says "AWALT", etc. but that only extends so far. And one place it does not extend to is gauging how far you can take teasing. It's an individual determination -- when you do go too far, the fallback is. . . find another person to tease.
/r/TheRedPill18/08/18 05:41 AM
3

You pushed her away too hard, you need to calibrate your teasing just up to the point where she'll walk away, and stop. This is, of course, a difficult thing to discern, which is why you need to be outcome-independent and not mope about the girl who got away or how her friends were ugly.

I go out 3 x a week alone, usually return in the same way, having had a good conversation, a couple of glasses of wine and a few business cards. After contacting those I met, I go to bed. The only issue I have is that I can't go to most bars, as they are too loud to make conversation in. So, any of you esteemed RPers have tips on finding quieter places or dealing with venues where I can't hear myself, much less the other person, speak?

Youth.. the average age of migrants is around 30. Whereas the average age in the EU is 42.8. It's not that Europe's importing "Islamic" citizens from suffering countries. who say it's impossible to beat the market. All the "experts" (if you listen to them) add "consistently" or other caveats when they say this. SPY is an average, sometimes the individual stock pick will do better than it, other times it won't. Beating the market isn't a question of "knowing what you are doing", it boils down to either (a) having enough funds to make the market or (b) getting lucky. If you're in the first situation, congratulations. If the latter, luck doesn't last forever.

Part of "winning at life" is to constantly see areas of improvement that you address and find more issues you can address. For example, when you start lifting, your goal is, say, 20kg. When you reach 20kg, your goal becomes (again, contrived) 40kg. When you reach 40, your goal is revised to 60kg and so on. Reading your note, I'll give you an example. Were I rap artist (and I'm not, so forgive the terminology), I would get satisfaction from seeing women dance to my beats. Where does one find thes…

Media emphasizes rare occurrences, as the novel is what gets you (and every other person, irrespective of pill type) to watch and, therefore, sells adverts. We're shown the planes hitting the world trade centre thousands of times, but aren't shown the flights that don't hit buildings, for example.

In the real world, beyond the subreddit, at some level, all marriages are arranged. The problem with both of mine were twofold: I was married very young -- first time at 19, second at 23. No, I am a fan of the UN, but I also think that they, like most NGOs, can't live up to their promise of world peace as long as we're guided by the capitalist ethos of my way, the rest of you be damned and perpetuate inequality on one hand and claim to work for peace on the other.

Yes, he removed them after being found out, and in interviews still was referred to with the incorrect Dr moniker. The fact that he put that he had a PhD all these years, when he had no such accolade was the reason he was fired. Again, not for the views he held, though his views may have triggered the finding of his lying as an excuse to fire him.

Did you even read the article? To call Damore's piece an article is to stretch the definition of the word to meaningless, but I did read it, nonetheless. But, the article doesn't matter for his firing. The point is that he was fired for misrepresenting his credentials on his CV, not his beliefs.

Yea, I did. I think it was pretty idiotic of him and I'm not surprised he was axed. But the fact that he was able to get in, fabricating his credentials is what got him axed, not the views he held. Ever notice he doesn't show any teams he worked on at Google for 3 years? My contacts at Google are all proud of the products they work on, one was the transition manager for Android while in London, for instance -- Andy Rubin would report to him, in other words.

Where's your objective? I look at your resume and don't see anything to tie it together. What are the metrics? For example, you say you "reached out to potential customers to secure a sale". How many times did you do this? How much was the sale for? How far off their average sale was it? By junior year, you should have taken some specialty courses, list the ones you did best in.

Always assume attraction Indeed. Assuming she wants you is a sign of confidence, and women are turned on most by confidence. Further, it's very hard to discern false confidence from the real thing, without trying it out, at least in the short term. You want to show confidence as long as possible and it takes a few seconds to make a good first impression.

there is a legit problem called vitamin overdose - it's a real thing. You can mess up your kidneys, liver, heart, etc This is a little alarmist. On masturbation, I use it as a cure for insomnia, not as a substitute for sex. My GP suggested the approach when I was 14 in lieu of a sleep aid and it works, without the side effects that one can get from taking a (not red) pill. Regarding porn, I never had the inclination. In the final examination, it depends (like most things) on why you are masturbating or consuming porn. I can't think of a reason I'd need to, but you're not me. So, you do you and don't be concerned about it.

This has to do with the poor teachers' salaries, especially compared to other professions that are open to people. For instance, I live in Copenhagen, work as a contractor for a large bank, making well over DKR1.2mln (US$200,000) per year. I've already stuck my dick in this crazy multiple times. I know I didn't make her pregnant as she'd have told me. And I've not seen her in a couple of years, so if she's telling me she's pregnant, I'll just say mazel-tov or whatever and be on my merry way.

Doesn't matter. Agreed, BP M23W0OH7FV2t thought it was not taking care of her. Now, I'm thinking she may have had an ulterior motive. Either way, she's an ex for several reasons, other than this.

Crikey, learn to format... This article seems to argue that most people (including both women and men) do not like playing the roles typically portrayed in pornography (i.e. rough sex and domination/submission). The study even goes to suggest many people might alter their sexual behavior to abide by what is considered normal behavior in pornography. TRP seems to suggest pornography more closely reflects reality than many people believe. Do you think pornography reflects the sexual reality, or ha…

Don't pretend that small towns are some valhalla. Statistically speaking, the economy is better in cities, leading to the concentration of both SJWs and degenerates. After all, James Damore still lives in the San Francisco area and went to school at Harvard. Wayne Le Pierre, the NRA spokesperson, resides in the DC suburbs. There is nothing wrong with living around, maybe who you would consider, your enemies. After all, it is only after seeing them up close that you can defeat them.

Looks only get one in the door. To make it to my bed and stay there, a nice set of nails isn't enough, you have to have personality. Where you getting at? I should really charge for my advice, but, ok... before that thought turns into reality: It's related to the concept of loss aversion. Would you rather avoid a 500,00kroner penalty or get a 500,00kroner bonus? How this applies to women going back to abusers is that recognising Chad is not possible for a flawed woman -- that's all of them. So, after 30, they settle for whomever they are with. Realize that each "ask" has nothing to do with the last. Therefore , "Could you warm up the bath?" when I'm in the restroom early in the morning has nothing to do with "the dishwasher broke, can you do the dishes?" that evening. Sure, there may be an upward trajectory in the time commitment of the favours, but that continuum exists only in my mind, it does not exist outside it.

My cousin, who is a big soccer fan, mentioned to his (now) wife that he didn't like Madrid Real fans. While she didn't know who Madrid Real were, he took her to an el Clasico in Spain, she came away agreeing with him.

On the other hand, a lot of women will consider a guy who isn't a perfect match for her physically if he has other qualities, such as he treats her well, he's a good provider, or her's a particularly interesting, funny or charismatic guy. Hell, the whole comedy genre is dominated by overweight, average looking dudes married to smoking hot wives. Just as a bloke won't care if the woman's a high-powered lawyer or going to find the cure for cancer.

Your race will hold you back, but only if you let it do so. It shows in your attitude. Most people, especially women, but not /u/M23W0OH7FV2t, can sense it a light year away. To be fair, /u/M23W0OH7FV2t can sense it, but only slightly closer, as /u/M23W0OH7FV2t is a diagnosed sperg. That aside... Biologically, one doesn't. Ever. You are always going to feel -- it's what makes you alive. What you can control (to a certain extent) is how you express what you feel. I wouldn't think bad of you if your son were to commit suicide and you have a good cry about it and then deal with it by withdrawing from social living. If you cry at traffic reports on your way home, though, then you have to get tougher. So, which is it?

The aim of being a good boyfriend is wrong regarding TRP. One adopts the principles to be a better human, with the romantic boost as a side-effect. I don't plan to stop lifting when my plates invariably break, as I lift for myself, with the fact that others notice and react differently as a side effect. Similarly regarding abundance mentality. The most apparent way I've implemented this is by choosing to be a contractor as opposed to being an employee. As with women employers are fickle, their n…

It depends on what she wants you to say them for. For passing the salt at dinner with guests, I'd say "please". If I broke her favourite vase, I'd say "sorry", but for putting my arm on her bum and squeezing when I know she's turned on by it? No, no sorry and no please.

My girlfriend is a true, God-fearing Christian. She's involved in multiple church related activities and goes to church every single Sunday without exception. She has a large network of friends and family who judge non-Christian acts quite seriously. The most God-fearing, religious people, irrespective of gender, are those who are the most fucked up, as the shit we talk about are done on the DL, without the possibility of public shaming. What advice can you give me to be more alpha about this si…

Learn about world religions To what end? They're all fictions of different strands. I'd recommend, instead of wasting time reading about Scientology or Mormonism, to go to coursera, or great courses plus, and level up in your career. Take the certifications. RP is about phyical fitness, but it is also about mental fitness to me. This is harder to discuss here as we work in different professions, whereas we all have biceps and triceps, but is equally important.

Muslim/African immigratioan + legal enforcement of their acceptance are funded by billionaires such as George Soros As a Muslim immigrant (from Belgium to Denmark), I can assure you the $12 airfare was paid on my card and not some billionaire. My grandfather's immigration (from Morocco to Belgium) was paid for with proceeds from his business, not some shady, Hungarian billionaire.

Part 2 Part 1 makes it seem like the PUA has magical power. RP explains that power as higher T, obtained (most often) through lifting. Is that an accurate summary? he has no clue what to do in that phase. This nailed the whole thing for me. I'm still reading, but when someone explains to me what to do in this phase, or if it's a clearly defined phase at all, I'll be golden. It prevents the accusations and opportunity for anything like what we’re seeing in the accusation cycling through Hollywood…

The dread should be implied (by her hamster) through conveyance of high value, not actively applied. This is especially true for those you haven't slept with yet. Applying active dread reduces comfort and without the right amount of comfort (unless she's just one of those true sluts, which you shouldn't be giving your time to anyways), sex isn't happening. Someone told me the the key to keeping a girl is to "be mean, keep 'em keen". In other words, always have options and leave oneself an out. I…

Never having had a different face, whether it's baby (or not) seems inconsequential to me. It has had whatever impact it has had. I'm stuck with my face. As for facial hair, I risk being arrested as a member of ISIS if I grow a beard, so, for reasons of personal safety, I must keep myself clean-shaven. The risk of arrest and torture at the hands of prison guards trumps any experiment I might decide to conduct with society.

The value of femininity is freedom. I don't have to hide my love for makeup or dressing up. I don't have to feel guilty for wanting to take care of my husband and make him happy. I don't have to think something is wrong with me because I want to clean and cook and take care of my family the way my mom did. I don't have to feel guilty for making choices that prioritize my family over my career. This, I think, is the essence of all this RP/RPW stuff. The goal is not to fit into some carton designe…

This is very easy to write about in the abstract. However, in life, things are generally grayer. I wouldn't ask my grandmother a thing, because she's in a grave 3 timezones away from me. My mother and I don't talk as much as I'd like (I told a priest that I was sick of having to leave my brain outside the church at 8am every Sunday just to see my aunt's home destroyed on the television every few years and have God not give a toss). No one under age of 40 writes cards to a girl's birthday And this is precisely why I do it, it's appreciated more than the generic SMS or facebook post, but... yeah so it will be lost in the hundreds of other orbiters posting on her timeline as well. She'll literally glance over it and think "oh thats sweet" and forget about it in 2 seconds. So what? You don't do this for her. You do it for yourself.

I think my cousin's wife wrote her thesis as Dr. <future-married-name>, but kept her maiden name on Facebook and her email. Of course, they were engaged to be married upon finishing their coursework and wrote their theses as part of the time between engagement and marriage. Once they'd defended their theses, they went to Italy and got married. Now, they live in Barcelona and seem happy as clams.

Our morality, culture, laws, rules, customs and traditions are creations of other men. Sure, some of them serve the common man, but I assure you, the vast majority of them are in place to control you. I agree with you 100%. How did you come to move from Belgium to Pakistan to Denmark? Pakistan, my mother is Pakistani. I was born in Belgium, and found a job in Denmark. EU membership makes moving around the bloc very simple.

What is kind of annoying is people who move here and make no effort at all to learn English. Yes, I've noticed the opposite problem living here -- people coming, not bothering to learn Danish and getting increasingly irked that the masses don't speak English among themselves. Uhh.. you're in Denmark, not England.

in today's society, many do not value the role of mothering It's the opposite. Many have fallen for the, imo, myth, that value has to have a monetary amount to be valid. Since mothering does not have a monetary value, it's worthless.

No, you do you, let them do them. This should be the crux of what the feminist movement should be about. Giving all genders equal opportunity to achieve whatever it is that they, as individuals, want to achieve. If I, as a man, want to be a makeup artist, I shouldn't be discouraged because the clientele is mostly female. Likewise, if you should want to be a fire fighter, you shouldn't be discouraged because they're mostly male. However, it does seem that the feminist movement has a flipside to i…

Yes, even if he was not violent. It should worry you. Being a good partner doesn't mean never criticizing the other person. I know RPW states that you should never argue, but this is a paint at which you should draw a red line. Nobody drives another person to drink. The desire (or maybe it's a "need") comes from within themselves. I'm not yet married, but I was dating an alcoholic for a year.
