Taking a quick poll here. What are y’alls thoughts on modern online dating (tinder, bumble)?

I find myself hopping on these apps for ostensibly sexual validation, get a feel-good amount of matches, pursue a few, feel no real connection (probably cause they’ve got 500 dudes in their queue) and then delete the app.

I’m taking a break from new dates for awhile in favor of “monk-mode” (with 1-2 weekly plate spins) but my feeling regarding dating apps is that it makes you lazy and rusty in real life pick-up (namely approach).

What’s are y’alls experiences?
