Have you ever asked for advice from people about how to improve at something and heard either one of those two advices “just be yourself and thinngs will fall into place” or “just put yourself out there and you will see results”
Well today is your lucky day because I’m here to tell you frankly that all those advices are bullshit. Let me tell you why.
When you get on the journey of improving yourself you probably have an objective in mind and an idea of where you want to end up and of course you want to get better than you was before, but when you take your first steps on this long journey, you quickly begin to realize why so few people even begin in the first place and why so many people quit after a few weeks.
The further you get on this journey the more you realize succeeding on this journey seems not only seems, it seems impossible/surhuman. But the reason it seems that way is because your brain is used to being lazy, thus your standards of what is hard is actually very low.
But here’s the problem you are your brain and your brain is you, and your brain aka yourself is your biggest enemy, it prefers comfort and safety to pain but the problem is it takes pain and tears to become a better version or yourself.
But the harsher reality is truly nothing in your life will ever fall in place without you doing your part, in fact even when you do your part things will fall out of place. What to do then ?
Well you need to try 2 times harder, you think you’re going hard but really you’re a soft crybaby who feels entitled.
I’m writing this for me, so I can read it later.
Oh and also you’ve been putting in work and got no results ?
Good nobody cares, go harder.
