Ancedote

After being porn-free for a couple weeks, I remember walking past a gorgeous blonde in a short dress and -- looking back on it -- she was more than just an eye magnet, she was like a tractor beam of attention. There were forces at play that were out of my control. I couldn't look away.

I was instantly alert and focused like an animal crouched in the bush whose been waiting all day and for prey to appear. All of the sudden your alertness, focus, and desire are all turned up, but you have to try to stay calm, stay still and not make any sudden movements that will send your dinner running.

Hypothesis

If there is fear, hatred, and anger toward women, it is because of the power they have over us, simply because we want them so badly.

This made man insecure and afraid. The male mind is wired for battle, for competition, for domination. Woman's power made man insecure in the same way a lesser man is insecure when he observes the greater size and strength of an dominant male.

Man sized up his competition and saw that he is no match for woman. He had the advantage of size and strength, but they are worthless weapons in this battle of control.

So man creates laws, customs, shame, guilt, piety to strip woman of her sexual power. Woman cannot seduce if she cannot be seen or heard. Man tries to enslave woman and repress the sexuality that exposes our weakness.

Insecure man gets mad at woman because of the fact that she has what he so desperately craves -- damn you she-devil, for making me want you!

Man would love it to be self-sufficient, self-contained, self-reliant. To be able to self-satisfy all his desires -- but he can't because he lacks what woman has. And though man can take it without consent -- what he really wants is for his wanting to be wanted.

This is the cause of the historical subjugation of woman. Woman who is man's biggest weakness.
