Summary: Even if you might have extremely little money, what you have in very high abundance that everyone else also does is time. You can this massive resource to get anything you want. This is also even more important when it comes to girls. When you see a girl that you really like, when that finally happens after being dulled to most girls where you live, because the vast majority of them are ugly and not worth pursuing - for those less than frequent opportunities that are given to you, you can invest the time on making the best possible interaction with them in that moment, because up to this point you've been using your time wisely.
Body: Everyone, whether they're top 1% filthy rich or dirt poor with only pocket change, 6'4" or 5'1", white or not, has the same 24 hours and the same 86400 seconds for every one of their days.
This relates to sexual strategy very strongly. Last Monday, I talked to two girls cold approach. I just sperged and failed, crashed and burned. Indirect opener and then repeating myself over and over. She kept straining to hear and then finally gave up, but still stood there. Good sign. And then on to her friend, who I kinoed by holding her lower arm in my hand. Ignored me or couldn't hear my shitty weak quiet voice, just like her friend; just standing there and ended up putting her makeup on in front of me. And then later I realized what the problem was. I have tons of to-do lists scattered on my computer, my phone, written down on several notebooks. I couldn't fully commit to the interaction because I felt guilty in the back of my mind that I had things to do.
And I only ever get a few of them done. These lists get bigger faster than I can get items done and crossed out. For every item on your to-do list. For each one of thousands of steps you have to take toward your goal: today's workout toward getting your ideal body, this set I just opened this cute girl I'm talking to right now building my skill with girls, this exercise of penning 500 words for realizing my career in writing, these bunch of sentences and listening hours to get good at my second and third language. Pay attention. Pay with your time. Put in the time.
The thousands of tiny decisions that all sum up to build who you are. The more dumb decisions you make - not only will it take longer to get there, it can actually harm you. Opportunity cost - everything has a price, if you choose to do something, you pay with not doing the other thing.
This problem has already been solved. "You do not have any problems at any particular moment." You do have life situation problems, but they don't actually exist at this moment. They are constructions of the mind. When you get to them, you pay full attention to them, you'll solve them. So when you see the girl and move to talk to her, silence the talkative mind. You'll handle those problems later, you know you can. Then listen to your body, be present and commit to interacting with the girl, giving her some of your time, and paying full attention to her. Your intent must be understood and your frame must become the reality. She must know you are a sexual being who knows what he wants, and wants her, but doesn't need her. You will have better conversation, plan out logistics better, set the right eye contact/posture/body language/voice, be ever more assertive/assured/attentive/alive, give value, and you both enjoy the interaction more.
I thought of something while I procrastinating on my uni homework. I'd have to watch a 2 hour movie that the manosphere had condemned for being feminist SJW propaganda (Mad Max: Fury Road) and write a review of it for one of my classes, and write filler content for a final project draft for another class. Because I have to do these to graduate, among many other paperwork requirements, and I do want to get a degree, I have to do it. In other words, put in the time to do them. Pay with time so they'll get done.
You may or may not have money, but what you have is time. This can be used to pay for anything upfront, either by allocating time to exert effort to do something, or to earn money to do or acquire that thing. When the clock hits 12 midnight, you get another free 24 hours minus time taxes! And this happens again and again every day until you die. Unfortunately, these more often than not are squandered on useless "time-killing" (willful wastage of resources) or otherwise not structured as well to make one follow through on his self-improvement to help achieve whatever his dreams may be.
This also ties in to abundance mentality. Almost all people, the herd especially, piss away their precious time and then on their deathbeds pray for an extension and feel all the regrets and remember all the wasted opportunities wash up on them. But why can they even carelessly and shamelessly waste that precious time in the first place? Because there's so much of it, at least before their last day on Earth. And this would be true. You have lots of time. It only feels like you don't because you're either investing in sculpting the best version of yourself or just enjoying the moment and being present, letting the mind wander for new ideas, hopefully not on "passing the time" doing aimless bullshit.
You can have value your time and not give it to just anyone, and have abundance mentality at the same. "I have lots of time and am only going to get more of it, but just because I have so much doesn't mean I'll piss it away." If you had lots of money, would you just give it away to anyone or spend it for the most trivial reasons? No. You'd use it to buy things that are necessities and others to make life easier, and delegate tasks to others so you can free up more time for yourself.
There are thing in the day that everyone has to do, that they first chose to do whether consciously or because of autopilot. Eating meals, showering, other grooming, work, business, school, commuting, driving, maintaining the house. These are "time taxes" so to speak, because you must pay them to sustain and continue your life at least the way it is now. Those aside and done, spend your time on you, what's important to you, toward your goals, on what has to be done. Don't be like the sheep who not only piss away their time but also their money that they traded away their time for on worthless crap.
"There's no such thing as a free lunch" is a popular saying, and it is often looked negatively: you must gasp expend effort or pay up or both to do or get anything, even become anything. But the flip side of this is that everything has a price. As long as you're willing to put in the time and when the situation requires it, the money and more energy, and plan in long-term cases for when you don't already know the solution, as long as you truly want it, you can do, be, or get anything you want. When you save your time and put it to good use, you get even more time than what you were already getting for free. So you can afford to pay, with time, for more things.
When you can pay for more because you invest your time properly and also save more, the guilt will be gone because you know that you're using your time wisely. You can now fully commit to interacting with the hot girl, give her 10 minutes of your time, even more if that goes well. You're not thinking of anything else. You just are. You're present. You're fully immersed in this moment. Your mind is working with you instead of against you, strengthening the frame, and your body is radiating your genuine desire and intent. She then makes the only decision she wants to make: either she stays there, and then allows herself to be led by you - "I'm down for what this guy has in store for me. And no one is messing it up for him or me" - or she rejects you and leaves.
Because you appreciate that while you can do this again, this particular instance will never happen again. It's a once-in-a-lifetime encounter. You understand impermanence in your core. Things are fleeing, they don't last. But just because they don't last, doesn't mean that they don't exist. Even if this only lasts 2 minutes, 10 minutes, 2 hours, a night, a few days, however much longer - for every single second and moment that comprises that encounter, you enjoy it, you enjoy her, she enjoys being enjoyed by you. This is NOT going with the flow - while you surrender to the moment and stop resisting it, you still lead. You act out your intent in the real world - you do what you want to do, whatever you want. You're the man.
Women for the most part do not love us. They do not choose a man because they love him, but because it pleases them to be loved by him.
While she's here, enjoy her. And she will enjoy your enjoying her.
Lessons Learned:
Everyone has 24 hours or 86400 seconds in their day.
You get another free 24 hours when another day comes, minus time taxes. How you choose to spend it is up to you and you only. Use it well. Don't waste just because's there a lot of it.
You pay for anything and everything with time. If you don't already have money, you also use time to pay for money, which you now have to pay for other things.
You must spend your time wisely. Think in terms of moments and decisions. Every moment, you are acting on a particular decision. Not choosing is still a choice. Make sure you're making the right decisions for you.
Time invested and the sum of decisions made all stack and accumulate to make who you are today and who you'll be soon. Is what you're doing and the decisions you're carrying out contributing to actualizing your ideal self / personalized high SMV?
Every step in the journey, every task, every to-do list item, in the thousands you are going to have to do toward certain ends and goals, has a cost in terms of time.
Don't think of your problems all the time. When you're doing something, commit fully to doing it and seeing it become reality, one by one, triage.
When you invest your time well in goal-oriented activities, and save time even by just not wasting it on pointless distractions, you realize you have much more time and therefore more value. Do with this gift as you please. Even more abundance.
Nothing is free, therefore everything has a price; and if everything has a price, anything can be bought. With time, planning, effort, money, energy, desire, intent, and attention.
This is most easily appreciated when in set: stop thinking of everything else, focus on healthy calibration and giving value, on enjoying the interaction and the girl, and bask in her noticing (if not enjoying) you.
Appreciate impermanence. Treat every set as a once-in-a-lifetime encounter. You will most likely never meet this girl again. Make it so that she enjoys the interaction so much she wants to be a part of your life, enter your frame of her own conscious volition, enter your world, and become your one girl or one among many other girls.
