Hey, I'm starting a Podcast called The Reddit Showdown.

Essentially we are taking the extreme sides of reddit and pitting them against each other in an audio format.

One of the main problems with reddit is we tend to dehumanize the people on the other side of the screen, and since we can't hear the tone of the other person people tend to never listen. This podcast tries to fix that.

The show will be half an hour to an hour long and will be take on a debate style.

It will be on http://www.thejrexperiment.com/ a semi-popular podcast site that can pull in thousands of listeners for a single show. It's run by the power user /u/dummystupid.

The way it will work is I will have a few questions, and each side will come with a three topics or questions.

The host of the show will attempt to be as impartial as possible. The host is mostly there to read the questions, and to cut people off if they go into an extremely long rant, or if they won't let their opponent speak.

Obviously /r/TheRedPill is one of the more controversial subreddits in that you have gotten some people to really hate you. I'd love to have a few of you on. The subreddits I'd like to put you against would be things like /r/MensRights (a group I hear you guys dislike?) and /r/TheBluePill.

Right now this is still in the planning stages and I'm just putting out feelers to see if I can get guests to come onto the show.

Would any of you be interested in coming on? The show isn't meant to be taken to seriously but just to have fun. If one side starts to get a bit crazy and just insulting the other we will end the podcast.
