I'm still relatively new, but I feel like this is basically common sense. But, I feel it also is worth saying so it can stand up to the abuse of a good discussion. With that in mind, feel free to pick and add to this advice as you see fit:

I have seen TONS of posts on /r/TRP asking "where to go" to meet women now that you've swallowed the pill. I've also seen some responses to go try out some red pill/PUA tactics at your local bar.

But for some of you, (maybe an overwhelming majority of you, IDK), picking up chicks at a bar or club is not what you have in mind. And I'm here to say, it's ok to not go to bars to pick up women. I'm also here to say it's ok to pick them up in bars, if that's what you want to do. Some of you want ONS or a fuck-buddy. And that's ok, that's what YOU want. Go out and get it! And major kudos if you have success - come back and tell us the tale so we can get some tips off of it!

But there are those of us who also aren't focused on a ONS or a fuck-buddy. And for that group, you are going to have limited success in bars and clubs for picking up women, because you're going to have a struggle connecting with them. For those of you brave souls who are attempting an LTR while still taking your daily red pill, I'm going to give you a MIND BLOWING piece of advice:

Wherever the type of women are that you want to date, go hang out/pick up women there.

If you're at the zoo, you don't go to the lion's cage to see some tigers, you go to the friggin' tiger den! Why on earth are you going to bars to pick up women if you're trying to have something in common with them? That's not to say you won't hit it off with a fellow bar-hopper, but the odds certainly aren't in your favor.

If you're into nerdy/geeky women, perhaps local comic shops and events are your place to be. If you want to date/marry inside your religion, perhaps attending services at a local temple/church/mosque is a good way to go. And if you're just trying to get into some hot 20-something's pants, go to the bar! See where I'm going with this?

Again, I know this may be common sense for some, but for others this bears repeating. Go to where women you want to pick up are, then pick up those women. And good luck!
