As a rule, I typically smile or say hello to anybody that I make eye contact with regardless if they're male, female, attractive, or unattractive. The majority of people respond positively to this, but I have noticed that attractive women( say 7 of 10) purposefully look away about 8 or 9 out of 10 times, even though my intent is to be polite, not necessarily hit on them . For reference, I am probably about a 7 myself. I usually interpret this as "please don't talk to me ", and then look away myself. I just find this strange because like I said, at least I, interpret these girls to be lateral as far as attractiveness, And when I do hit on girls ( chat up in a bar for example) My success percentages are much higher probably 40-60%. Am I misinterpreting something when they look away? Could this insecurity on their part? I've considered trying to not look away, But think this might come off a little creepy. I'm new to this sub, but I've read some pretty interesting stuff so far and would like to hear what some of you think.
