I say just keep reading, but in the end, it's your decision. Probabilities are against the long term implications of the relationship, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't pursue what you want. From what I've read, the guys who have traveled have a much better perspective about a long term relationship with someone. And me being 23 doesn't exactly help with my opinion, so have to make sure you know that this writing is coming from someone of similar life timeline.

That said, I'd be wary. Your value over the next ten years is going to keep going up if you have self-improvement in mind, while her value will begin to drop (worded that very directly/brutally, so don't take it as a personal attack on her or you!). So by the time you're 33 or in your late 30s, the dating market will be very, very different than how you see it now.

Maybe find some married 30 year olds, and single 30 year olds, befriend them and learn how they see and experience the world, and come to your own conclusions as to who you'd like to be more like.

There are a few things that should influence your decision:

Does she come from a moral family? That is, a family that values intelligence, fairness and loyalty? Would you be able to get along with them? Would they be able to shame her into behaving as a good wife? Would you call any of her sisters a bitch if you weren't dating her? (edit: if either of her sisters is a bitch, unless there is an overarching, obvious reason that excuses your gf, stay the fuck away)
Would she be a good mother? Does she have a good model to work from?
How sexually experienced is she? If she is too sexually experienced, this does not bode well especially since you two are so young. TRP tells you that it is likely that she is sexually experienced if the first 2 characteristics do not hold favourably.

A lot of the stuff here says "don't marry until your SMV peaks". If I was advising someone, I'd say "marry, but keep spinning plates by flirting".

All that being said, if a 23-year old woman is willing to marry you, there are two reasons:

She genuinely loves the shit out of you.
She thinks you are going to be something special and she can divorce you eventually and take half your assets.

Edit: Btw, 23 is dangerously close territory to "omg, I can suck all these cocks without shame". Keep that in mind.

As someone who got married young, I think it was a wonderful life. I enjoyed my wife and she enjoyed me. We fucked it up at some point but she loved the shit out of me and probably still does. So getting married young is not the end of the world.

And no, she didn't get half. Not even close.

Hi - I've been with my current wife since I was 26 and she was 22, and it's worked out great for us!

Why don't you just fuck her until you're bored with her? I did that, and regretted it. Life is too short to have no regrets.
