So I have only recently taken the red pill but as of late I have noticed the themes in almost every aspect of my daily life. Especially in pop-culture and news consumption.

Today I was scrolling through the Times and I came across a newly written article about Ray Rice hitting his wife. So in case you haven't seen, a video was released that shows the whole incident.

When I first heard this story I was on the blue-pill and I sided with the populace and Ray's wife, thinking it was entirely Ray's fault for beating a woman. But now that I'm team red and I've seen the whole incident for myself I can hardly blame him at all.

If you watch the video from the beginning, Ray is patiently waiting by the elevator for her, then as she passes it looks like he may have made a snarky comment, but then she takes the first strike! Immediately she was the first one to show physical aggression. Then Ray gets close to her in the elevator and she throws and elbow. Ray then instinctively strikes back. So the hit count is two on Ray and one on miss fiance.

But the most telling event is what happens immediately after Ray throws the first punch. HE BACKS AWAY. He backs into the corner of the elevator and SHE CHARGES HIM. I don't blame the guy at all at this point for defending himself. If this situation were between two men this wouldn't even be a conversation.

But the most disturbing thing about all of this is the public's reaction. And to be honest with you, anyone who would come out on Ray's side would be condemned by women's rights groups. Women are figuratively and literally putting men in a corner. And what are we supposed to do about it? Curl up and take the punches?
