HAHA! I like the size matters portion. As a manmore(6'6"), this is very true. I'm not going to take someones drink, but I do get away with a lot more shit. People move out of my way, very rarely do I get a challenge eye contact, and I have literally had other men duck there head as I passed by.

This is a very interesting segment so far.

I'm pretty tall myself, and didn't realize what sort of world I lived in until I moved to a country where the average man was over 6 feet tall.

I spent my entire adult life either looking level with people or down at people. It was crazy how quickly shit shifted once I had to start looking UP to people. It genuinely made me feel uncomfortable, simply because I wasn't used to it.

This was pretty cool. Not super applicable to human behavior but you're right about not showing weakness. That old alpha got destroyed and mounted as a final humiliation... intense.

On the subject of dominating social groups, I recently started University and I've been putting my TRP skills to the test. It appears to be working because I have made a group of friends, all of which depend on me for what action we're all going to take next, be it during work or our break. All the girls in the group are making passes at me too. (I'm very new to all of this because I took a gap-year for self-improvement before starting University. TRP, lifting .etc)

But there's another guy in the group that appears to be competing with me, which comes to as a surprise because he's bluepill as fuck. He even went on a rant once about how the male gender is fucking awful, women are absolutely fantastic and that we should be ashamed. Evidently this guy also doesn't have the finest social-finesse. People have pointed out he's awkward a few times already. He DID however form this group in the first place by arranging all of them for a meeting at a pub and I joined shortly after which made me suspect that he originally intended on calling the shots.

Now, back to the competing. Sometimes he will just stare me down, but not in a casual eye-contact way like during a conversation. He will straight-up glare into my eyes which instinctively locks me into place too. Everyone notices every time he does it because he doesn't even TRY to make it subtle. Once he stared at me for 30 fucking seconds before I looked away because what the fuck? I think he tries to play it off as in jest but it certainly doesn't feel like it. He also gets along great with me when nobody else is around.

I don't know whether he's just butthurt that I happened to become the alpha of a group that he originally banded together or whether he's just fucking weird but either way, anybody have any insights onto what is happening with this dude?

That's pretty hilarious. Sounds like he's asserting dominance in a group setting but trying to stay on your good side by groveling up to you when you're isolated. Essentially setting himself up to be the 2nd in line behind the alpha.

If I were in your situation I wouldn't be able to stop myself from laughing. Men give shit tests too, not just women. Laughing demonstrates amused mastery and that you don't see him as a threat. Regardless, you're already the alpha.

When he does that challenging eye contact, blow him a kiss and/or give him a wink. That WILL unnerve him so much and he'll most likely stop for awhile.

The reaction will undoubtedly be hilarious.

Or just call him out for staring at you so longingly and deeply.

Don't let it continue, shut him down and give him the boot because people like that are snakes.

These are the type of people that would rather spread rumors and deceit about you or others to break up the circle if they can't be the head. Even if they don't it's apparent he's internalising his hatred of you and you can only harbour shit like that for so long before it comes out. You've already stated he sucks up to you when its just the both of you, it's pretty clear he's trying to pull some Machiavellian shit.

If you had gangrene on a leg you have to sever it before it spreads. Since you're the AMOG you're going to have to amputate.
