Sometimes I travel internationally for my job. It's not actually a requirement of my job, but often I enjoy the luxuries and time away that can come with it, so I take the opportunities. That, and it gets me "extra credit" in terms of my career. I don't usually have the time to see women on these trips - the work consumes most of my energy, and the rest I often spend on exploration, etc. My concern is more with what happens at home when I'm gone.

My trend is short to medium term relationships with attractive women around 5 years younger than me. That's not to say I don't want longer, but I just haven't found any woman capable of demonstrating any value for longer than that amount of time. I am perfectly comfortable with replacement when eventually there is no reason to continue.

I haven't found the concept of 2-3 week business trips compatible these relationships. I usually have to spin plates every time I do one of these trips, which can sometimes be disruptive when I don't want it to be. Sometimes I'm just not in the mood and would prefer to keep what I have waiting for me at home.

Prior to a trip, it'll often be "I don't know what I'll do without you - I'll miss you so much."

Then, about 1.5 weeks in, it is like clockwork. One of her texting orbiters will make an inlet, "and it's just a drink and I'm booooooooored and you're not heeeeeere". Soon, she's out smashed with an entire solar system around her. It's never friends. It's always orbiters, and the venue is always some meat market. I consider this too much devalue, and I end it. Rinse, cycle, repeat.

On my current trip, which is 4 weeks, seeing the inevitable coming, I just widowed her with the intention of picking it up again when I got home. This seems to have backfired.

I'm not sure how change such a situation to be in my favor. These trips are not something I will forgo. If I ignore the communication, the scenario happens. If I maintain a reasonable amount of communication, I end up just another message alongside all the orbiters and lose value myself. Regardless, the inevitable "but they're just friends, and I'm booooored" comes out.

I have no problem whatsoever maintaining the interest of these women when I am at home.

Does theredpill have any relevant advice for this type of situation?
