First post here. I was intrigued by a study I saw correlating the number of lifetime sexual partners in women to their divorce rates -- a staggering one in five marriages work when the wife has had twenty or more lifetime sexual partners.

So now I'm curious. Are there other studies that can corroborate these findings? How about studies that compare number of sex partners with other long-term relationship issues, like the rate of cheating, expected satisfaction with marriage, etc.? You guys are the experts, so I'd love some hard data if you have it.

EDIT: Here is the study I mentioned.
