Intro note: I’m well aware this idea should be taken lightly, and isn’t a full proof plan to vet, no shit. This is just an observation I couldn’t keep to myself and wanted to open a discussion with you fellas because there aren’t many people in my day to day I can bounce this idea off of.
There are many ways to vet, some better than others, but this is one that I came across...reality TV.
During all this quarantine nonsense, the only place to hang out with girls is at my place or theirs. Some of my hobbies are considered “essential” but they are MY hobbies, so not an option.
I’ve basically checked out, and when I’m at home on my laptop she can pick whatever is on the TV, I could care less. Lately it’s been a lot of reality TV, and I gotta say watching her watch reality television is fucking eye opening. The comments that are made, the people she “loves”, the individuals she roots for, the actions she deems “harmless” or the ones she considers toxic.
I always knew a lot of red pill truths existed in reality TV, but I didn’t think it would give you access to a plates opinions on a topic. You basically get to hear someone’s thought process, or route of justification in relationship ending situations.
The girl who initially put the show on is not LTR material and I knew that, but the other girl I’ve been seeing who saw the show in my recents and selected it pleasantly surprised me. Her comments were on the safer side of the AWALT spectrum, and I always knew she was a better option to get serious with.
TLDR: Watching reality TV with girls can lead to discussions and remarks where they expose their opinions on topics and situations in the show. In some ways this is like vetting, but shouldn’t be the only method used when vetting.
