Background:

In my 40s, and the doctor has started checking my prostate. Not fun, but necessary. When you're in your 40s, you're going to 'enjoy' the same experience.

Body

Quick one here. A bit late for Movember, but here it is anyways... Researchers have found "shock" testosterone treatment reversed, and in one case even cured prostate cancer.

"The trial involved three cycles of “bipolar androgen therapy” which involves alternately flooding and starving the body of testosterone. The men received high dose injections once every 28 days. At the same time, they were given a drug that stopped testosterone being produced naturally."

Lessons Learned

If you're over 40, get your prostate checked - preferably annually. But if you do find something wrong, there's a good treatment regimen if detected early.
