Man, reading that makes me glad that in the nadir of my beta-phase, all of my relationships were relatively short. I never made it long enough in those to get to the really shitty behaviors like "carrying her shit" or "she doesn't watch movies with nudity in them with you".

I've definitely made a lot of mistakes in those early relationships but the memory that gives me the biggest douche chills is when I had this girl over my parents house, we're watching a movie, she's inexperienced (as was I, but that shouldn't have mattered) so I had a pretty big in, and I ASKED HER IF I COULD HOLD HER HAND while we were sitting there on the couch...and that's as far as I went, too. Yeah, we never hung out again after that and I still had to see her at work.

Same. Number 6 stood out especially. "You fall in love with every girl you date." I kept putting girls on pedestals to the point my behavior was unconsciously melded to her every need. So glad I became self-aware.

It's crazy, the moment you stop doing that and sincerely stop giving a fuck, women will flock. Never in a million years would I have thought that the movie Swingers had the most profound message to teach young men about getting laid: Jon Favreau finally stops giving a fuck about his ex and that's when she calls him back.

Some are good, others are bad. This one is flat out ass backwards:

Warmup sets and establishing a "home base" is one thing but a lot of guys use it as a crutch, hitting on the lesser attractive women they really aren't all that interested in.
