Vocalist here. Don't know if you do it professionally (gets paid), but I do. I'm very familiar with this one. Here's how I always handle it:

She: "Omg! I love this song! Sing for me!"

Me: "My fee is $100 for a 30 minute set. Are you paying with cash o check?"

Fuck being her dancing monkey, I don't make the fact I sing something to tell them, it's something they have to discover.

I've been doing standup for a while now and I have a few stock responses to the, "tell me a joke" thing but I like this better.

It's all just an "entertain me!" shit test. If you give them what they ask for, you demonstrate lower value.

"Knock knock" is pretty good, actually, if you use a cocky/funny/asshole sort of game.

Or, you could could launch into the most horrifiyingly un-politically-correct (racism, sexism, whatever. Think: "A Jew, a pedophile, and a drag queen walk into a bar..." or something) joke set-up that you can think of, one that'll make their eyes go wide.

Edit: and the punch-line could be:" they certainly didn't come together, and they each went to their respective parties and had a pleasant time", or something contradictingly tame. That could be pretty funny.
