Yes. And something else that happened fast was the linguistic switcheroo where she went from "My boyfriend attacked me to "We" in a split second. Had her bf really attacked her she would have kept talking about him in the third person because if it really was an attack she would not - and psychologically her brain could not - suddenly include herself as some sort of participant, because that is not what happened.

I’ll try to make this as short as possible... ...is how every long-winded post begins. Is there any explanation for L's behavior? Yes, and she herself gave it to you: "for no reason". Actually there is a reason, but it doesn't matter. If she is behaving that way "for no reason", then there is no reason to have anything more to do with her. And if that circle of friends closes ranks against you, so be it. It's only college; in nine months you will have a new set of friends.

Stop interrupting your prose with parenthetical remarks. State your question succinctly instead of squirting out tedious color-commentary on the random side thoughts passing through your mind as you state your question. No relationship that I know of has survived the friendzone. Stop hoping. Ghost her. Evil is nonbeing, basically.
/r/TheRedPill11/09/17 09:04 PM
2

Human evil is a mystery. I can't wrap my head around why some parents are just evil to their children. They must think they're doing something right; otherwise they wouldn't do it. I just don't understand it. Maybe there's nothing to understand. And then the children grow up thinking the evil is "normal". That's one way to fill the world with women who are utterly unsuitable to be in any romantic relationship with a man.

Ok that's what I meant. Personally I'm re-reading NMMNG after having loaned it to a colleague who happens to be a therapist himself. I doubt he read it. I just finished Celani's Leaving Home, which is only tangentially related to RP but a good read for men with mommy and daddy issues. The Rational Male is next. 48 Laws is bedtime story material.

Something that has not been touched on so far: You shouldn't be having text conversations with her in the first place. Texting is for settling logistics, such as when and where she will meet you. At the risk of over-answering your question, take a look at the texting section of the YaReally Archive: http://yareallyarchive.com/

Is it your fault that she does not make enough money to support the lifestyle she likes? Golden.
/r/askTRP06/09/17 09:49 AM

She pays for herself. It's [current year]. You are not her Provider. If you have expensive tastes then either diversify your tastes or have dinner with richer women. Or bigger-spending women. If they can't match your spending habits, find ones who can. Best solution is to not have dinner. I hope "petty" was a typo for "pretty".
/r/askTRP06/09/17 09:48 AM
10

Yes it does. Or at least it gets her hamster running. https://media.giphy.com/media/QS89CiYaHcUxi/giphy.gif Don't post text descriptions of what actually happened. Just post opaque but suggestive sentence-fragment captions like, "Turnin' it up to 11 w/ Mandi, Chrysti, and Cheri at the club!" - or even better, for a pic with three girls in it, just name one of them.
/r/askTRP06/09/17 09:34 AM
1

If she's not hot in your estimation then find someone else. There is no point in investigating whether she cheated on you, because it is simply not possible to cheat on someone you are "kind of" in a relationship with. Your ring was not on her finger, so you have no standing in the matter. I suggest ghosting her and starting over with someone else.
/r/askTRP06/09/17 09:11 AM
29

She wants to see if you have high enough SMV to have a Plan B (not the pill). So always pencil in a Plan B for photo-ops so you can post to fb how much fun she missed out on. The pic(s) must include one chick hotter than her. Since you are spending so much time with hot chicks, you will logically have little or no time for social media. Are you picking up what I'm putting down?
/r/askTRP06/09/17 08:55 AM
1

In my country you get "coaxed" out, preferably without physical contact, by employees of the establishment, whereupon you are arrested by local law enforcement who just so happened to be waiting on the sidewalk, and charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct, or interfering with the operation of a business.
/r/askTRP06/09/17 08:41 AM
1

1) It was an OK response. A better one would have been, "So am I. But you'll never meet her." Or even better, "Yeah, me too, but you know how these 'arranged' things are, I hate to bring dishonour on both her and my families." 2) I don't "take" girls "out". I meet them for drinks so I can assess the situation and make a decision about what's next, which may include ghosting her.

"Kind of involved with"? She had a chance to cheat on you. How is it possible to cheat on someone you are "kind of involved with"? Did she "kind of" cheat? "Either it happened or not." Did it happen or not? ...And you work together? Don't shit where you eat. ...And she's not all that attractive? ...And you have some of her personal property? Leave it on her desk without comment and read the main sub sidebar. Make up your mind and stop jellyfishing through life. Then the question of ghosting her …

I'm confused. He shows random girls pictures of widely-known YouTube personalities including himself and asks them if they would want to have sex with them, then reveals that the one they preferred to have sex with was himself in disguise all along? Wow, the internet is as dumb as I thought.

Is Google male or female? Female, because it won't let you finish a sentence before making a suggestion. How many strong and independent women does it take to change a light bulb? None. There's always a man around. How is a dog better than a girlfriend? Lock them both in your trunk for an hour and see which one will be happy to see you.

The boyfriend forced her to live in squalor. The boyfriend played video games all day. But she believed in him and in them and believed everything would change and be better later on. She cared and sacrificed and compromised and loved. The boyfriend was 34.

My theory is that marital vows were composed by men after they discovered woman's true nature, and the wedding ceremony with its declarations of vows in the presence of witnesses was to make sure the woman couldn't spin the content of the vows after the fact. It worked well for a couple thousand years until men in affluent western democracies let women subvert traditional gender roles. It's gotten so bad that some men these days even let their fiancées write their own vows.

Volunteering? How about making more money instead. Most of the time, white western guys' concepts of "volunteering" involve some sort of tragic misconception about "helping people" or "making a difference" or "if I can make just one child smile that makes it all worth while". Make a difference while actually getting something out of it beyond euphemistic self-justification. Otherwise you're just playing out the same beta-bux mind-game that cucks do in marriages.

A video of yourself reading a prepared text like the Preamble to the Constitution would help. But the reform of your persona must grow organically from your baseline personality. I could tell you to imitate Jason Statham's characters or Daniel Craig's or Bruce Willis', but what they have in common is what I listed above. It's much easier to imitate a real man you know in real life, until you figure out what it ought to look like on you. You may also want to take extended videos of yourself in mi…

From what I can tell it's about avoiding entanglements with women formed by the worst influences of decadent western culture. Which is most of them. Not to stray too far off topic, but while marriage is held in high esteem in Catholicism (cf. Ok at that point I would argue that a forensic examination of her phone is the equivalent of electronic rape, since it is an invasive violation of the victim's privacy. And if the texts in question were still preserved on the rapist's phone, I would argue they were composed and sent under duress and finally that the whole affair is a lynching of the victim. In the end I'm not sure how to trounce a false accusation.

So you would force the victim to relive the traumatic experience twice, once for the initial rape trial, then again for the malicious intent trial? Furthermore you are suggesting that the bar for rape accusations should be raised ever higher and higher, which would discourage even more victims from coming forward if they don't think they meet the bulletproof evidentiary standard you're proposing. What a cruel thing to do to someone already in a delicate emotional condition!

I'm jealous for my peace of mind, which makes me an awesome friend because I avoid getting embroiled. And nothing perturbs a man so much as the machinations of women. If I'd hazard a guess, judging from the look of this Beksinski guy's artwork, I'd say its deep-seated self hatred. Expensive lesson. But yes, men and women are not "friends" in the normal sense of the word because friendship implies a certain kind of equality between the parties, and men and women are unequal in important respects. Nowadays when I hear a woman's side to any story, I basically make a mental note of it but otherwise wait until the rest of the story comes out from a source other than her. I rarely ask a question I don't already know the answer to. I have counseled numerous budding RPers here and IRL but as I said in another response here, "How do I stop doing X"-type questions stump me. I am asking advice about giving advice. We are assuming bangable girls within a reasonable radius, not Bulgarian chicks in New Zealand. No, showing up with "girlfriends" is a shittest that should be stood-up-to right away. IMO end the interaction right then and there. Sure, one can think it humorous to imagine that one would bed all eleven of them together, but no, that is not the agenda of a girl who invites her girlfriends on a date. I side with BlackDragon, jettison her.

BlackDragon is just suggesting one model or framework within which to analyze alphahood and I'm presenting his opinions to the community. I like his model because it is simple and because it makes an important point about alphahood being compatible with a certain kind of outcome-dependence. I agree that aggression is not of the essence of alphahood, but I'm sure you would agree that aggression in its proper place is an integral part of it - but that is for its own separate post.

You shouldn't be using text to communicate anything beyond logistics. Women use language to convey emotions, not facts, so it doesn't matter what your response would be, so long as it makes her feel a certain way. Off the top of my head: "I can think of a few intentions." Then radio silence until the date. Alternatively you could try a non-sequitur like "Wear green."
/r/askTRP02/02/16 01:49 PM
3

Yes that was part of my point. BlackDragon constructed these examples to illustrate a point as far as I can tell. Occasionally here on r\trp being a straight up asshole or being a controlling douche is confused with alpha behavior. We however know that that is just another form of beta. Of course, even better is not to disclose your Plan B.

Is this what this sub is for? For sending out calls-to-action over some public radio show that is already well known as a liberal/SJW beacon? What do you want the redpill community to do, call in and set them straight with our redpill wisdom? Your time would be better spent listening to old Patrice O'Neal/Beige Philip, Tom Leykis, and Stephen Molyneux podcasts. At least maybe you'd learn something and not have to sit through effeminate jazz music bumpers every few minutes. Eat my downvote, kid.

Children have a right to be born of and raised by their own parents. Keep that in mind as you weigh your wants against the fundamental well-being of an innocent and helpless child. Past faithfulness is irrelevant. Rather, she waited until she had you battened down before she trotted out her inner slut and cheated on you. You can tell her to just accept the difference in family culture. If she didn't vet your family properly before marrying into it, that's on her. Women lack natural authority, so when they don't like something they try to prod others into doing the dirty work for them, in this case you.

Yes, be fun, and be attractive. Don't be unattractive. It takes time to build up a dependable consistent social circle, but the simplest way is to find people with shared interests that can form the basis of a friendship-of-pleasure. That's how emotional people argue, by crying when you prove them wrong. Look, I'm a teacher and I have 25 years experience dealing with teenagers. I couldn't get enough of this guy so I went on to parts 2-9. In part 4 at 0:38-0:52 you get a good look at his left tricep, which seems to be about the same size as his left glute. I thought about that until I realized that was just weird. In part 7 he introduces us to his cars, in particular his BMW 600 series. He says, "[I] just love this car ... Here's another sad part of the video I cited. In this clip he talks about getting together with someone and "build an empire together" - he drones on repetitively for a minute and a half, but it's instructive to see just how poignantly optimistic he is about what his future wife is actually going to contribute to his empire-building and goal-achievement five or ten years down the line. Watch this clip twice: first to listen to what he is saying, then a second time to watch her facial expressions…

Monks own almost nothing because they are keeping themselves pure and unattached. Yet they are not destitute. Most (i.e. non-hermits) live in communities that make everyday life easier by sharing common resources but these are owned communally not individually. At the same time - and I have in mind Christian monks - most monastic communities are not dependent on handouts but apply themselves to productive work such as coffee, fruitcakes, beer, or ink & toner so that they make an honest living. Morality does have the effect of ensuring the flourishing of civilization, but is that what morality essentially is? I wish you had given more reflection on this. Yes, the SBD is yet another facilitator of the Hamster, and examples of such things fill the universe in all its parts. But you could have gone on to describe your own diet in your own plan for self-improvement, along with assessing the results you have seen. Downvoted for failure to be attractive. I will undownvote you if you make the indicated changes.

Start with Greene's own explanation of it. Free PDFs of it are floating around the internet. An illustration of my own: Once upon a time there was a little American boy who learned about Japanese culture in school. He burped loudly at the table. His mother chided him. He retorted, "In Japan, that means 'Compliments to the chef!'" His father said, "In Japan, fathers can cut their children's heads off for insolence." The little boy never burped at the table again, although he forever remained enam…

The highest-quality response to 77-cents garbage is in my opinion Milton Friedman's: Short answer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsIpQ7YguGE Long answer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZA1Q_1t1E0 TL;DW: Wage equalization takes away women's ability to compete against men in the job market, by eliminating an employer's incentive to preferentially hire women. Yes, the general consensus at the water-cooler was that middle management was adult day-care for people who would never survive in a for-profit environment. Honestly I don't know how most of those people cashed their paychecks in good conscience. I did eventually quit; infiltration wasn't feasible with such a high turnover in the lower ranks.

We all have our own anecdotes. I was working as gallery staff at a science museum. One of our temporary exhibits was about paleontology, and one of its interactive components was a set of life-sized fiberglass "fossils" encased in a "matrix" made from sand that had been impregnated with paraffin, and museum visitors were invited to scrape away at the matrix to reveal the fossil underneath, just like a real paleontologist in a lab. The wax-sand mixture was reusable, and all we needed to do was sw…

Annulment treats the marriage as though it never happened - I think that's what you meant - and you're right, it is not the retroactive dissolution of a contract, but a declaration by a competent authority, after due investigation, that what was thought to have been a contract never was one from the start.

At the time my mind couldn't wrap around the jump in logic that caused that shift. It made absolutely no sense. Now I've seen it with countless women, about countless things. Yes. One of the many wonderful things about RP enlightenment, is that this is no longer a cause of rage. Instead, RP insists that AWALT and that it is normal and to be expected; it is not to be raged against, but accepted and managed. And when you get really good at RP, you can even use it to your advantage.

As has already been said, 2 1/2 hours is way too far for some woman. Let's put it this way. If things don't work out some night - like this night, for example - then do you really want to waste five hours of driving when you could be seeing someone local? Are you that smitten with oneitis and so overcome with Dearth Mentality that you would literally drive past possibly hundreds of other suitable women? Women who won't wait until you are 150 miles away from home to start playing LMR mind games w…

Right. It's not about the content of the discussion but about the underlying feels. For example, it's not about the wage gap. It never was. "Seventy-seven cents on the dollar? That's why I only hire women, especially for menial tasks like cleaning my apartment or digging out my ingrown toenails." "Unfair that they should be paid less, you say? Well then, if I have to pay them the same, then I'm having a guy do them, because we need more men in cosmetology and domestic work. It's unfair that the …

The ambiguity seems to stem from the author: One thing is for sure: life on an oil rig isn’t for everyone. But if six months off per year, 100k+ annually and a pretty exciting, ever changing lifestyle strike you as rewards worth the challenges you’ll face, maybe life on the rigs is a good way to go.

I prefer to think of it as an experiment where you already knew the outome in theory, but you wanted to see it with your own eyes. My favorite definition of anger is "the passion to correct an injustice" - or, to reflect your language, "motivation" to correct an injustice. In my opinion this is the good kind of concern-trolling. I would like to hear from the mods themselves more often, in a guidance capacity, such as through stickies declaring a theme for the month, or, as was done recently, declaring a weekend to be dedicated to some redpill theme, as a sort of challenge to us, to focus on some idea and post about it. I'd also like to see an article that spells out what makes a good post. Something else I'd like to see more of, is redpillers taking a more fatherl…

I was already getting pretty red on my own and came across this subreddit somehow, probably via some negative publicity from somewhere else on Reddit. I was delighted to find a community of like-minded men who were already on the same page as I was about a lot of things. In fact, I already had my own special terminology for some concepts - for example, instead of "Next her!" I used to say "Replace her!", and instead of using the term and metaphor "Hamster" or the concept of ignoring her words an…

This is beautiful. For the last 20 years I have been begging friends to make instructional aids for my students, stuff I don't have the right tools for. Last gadget I had made for me was a Newton's Wheel. Carrying stock pegboard on my head, wearing a button-down oxford and khakis, during my lunch break I walked onto a buddy's jobsite where he was rehabbing a two-family near the school. I asked him to cut me out a circle and mount it on a bearing. He set down the squirrel-cage he was reinstalling…

No, anger ... correct anger ... is an alpha trait. Correct anger is a passion for correcting an injustice done to oneself or to another. And it ceases when the injustice is corrected. I drag religion into everything. An old conundrum among medieval theologians was whether and how angels could "teach". Well the consensus ended up being that they can "teach", but only by showing/enlightening a mind to the truth. Not by spelling things out step by step. (That's the short version.) When it comes to RP, I've decided that I'm just going to be RP, and let them figure it out on their own. I have a similar story.
