This is my first post on this sub that I came across about a year ago. I want to give my two cents to what TRP means to me and to hopefully help someone out there that might be in the position I was in a couple of years ago.

Back in highschool I was as beta as they come. I remember going through my years there having many friends and getting along well with people but never having any success with girls. I remember being an avid follower of the "friend-zone" culture that in our age is widely accepted and even glorified through comedy online. I remember asking myself why the girls that seemed to love me and be around me were always ending up with the "assholes" or the "douchebags", I finished highschool a virgin and having barely kissed one or two girls.

Flash-forward to college: When I went to university I joined a fraternity and immediately had my perception and attitude towards women change. I found myself in an environment where the number of girls at any social event significantly outnumbered the number of guys. I was introduced to a world where I met girls that I would have previously been too scared to even approach; I was now sleeping with these girls consistently.

I don't say this to brag, but to show how surrounding yourself with likeminded men can impact your life. The world around me and my perceptions of women were completely flipped upside down. Everything I had previously thought and held true was suddenly false. I began questioning my actions, my thought processes and my priorities in life. I really began living for myself and not to please others.

All these thoughts confused me and I just seemed to riding this wave of new found knowledge. There was no structure in my thoughts or actions. It wasn't until I found TRP that I had a name for what I was experiencing.

Growing up the middle child with two sisters I was always taught how to act/approach women from them. Thinking back on it, my dad would always drop Alpha nuggets here and there but I always shrugged them off. My sisters that are my age should know more about this stuff than my old man right? (Wrong, listen to your dad when it comes to these things. He probably knows what he's fucking talking about). Even though I am not at the place I want to be when it comes to these things in my life yet, trp and everything that is continuously posted here is helping me get there.

I want to thank TRP community for providing that same "brotherhood" that every man needs from time to time. TRP is a place to share, learn and grow. Come here with an open mind and your life will change forever.
