The grind is an essential component for success
Preface: I am still in the middle of my grind and instilling Red Pill principles successfully into my life. Addition, responding to GLO call for posts.
10,000 hours is a common reference point for establishing the amount of time is need to become skilled or a master. To break that number down into realist understanding of the time, let's start with the 8 hour work day. 10,000 hours becomes 1,250 working days to reach that desired status. Again, this number is huge so lets simplify even more to working years. There are approximately 261 working days in a year given country and etc, so amount of time to become a master is 4.8 years. Why does this matter?
At 4.8 years working 8 hours days you are giving 50% of your time, 8 hours of rest = 16 hours of doing stuff, half of that is 50%. If you can give 100% of your time then the time is cut in half to 2.4 years. However, being men we do not have this luxury because there are countless things competition for your time. Thus, when you are working on becoming a master you have to full commit your focus to the task at time. Otherwise, you will never reach master status. Time is your most precious commodity you have and money coming in at second. How does effort relate to the grind?
I am in the middle of my grind - becoming a MD and PhD in Biomedical Engineering - a "bench to bedside" translational physician engineer . A major of people would as I am accomplished with my B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology, but that is their perspective. It was something that I did and did not result into my main goal. I was flat out rejected to medical school and the MD PhD programs. So, I got through the failure and now earning my M.S. in Bioengineering for many different personal reasons. The most important is learning about my intellectual composition. For better or worse, I have an IQ over 130 and extreme long term memory, however, I am dyslexic (no joke, call me out if something doesn't sound right) and have learning disability in reading and writing.
Without learning about why I struggled with writing in Blue Pill school system, I could never improve. In the pugged in blue world, I just need a special program to help with my writing or I was not trying or some other BS that did not work. What I needed was the grind. Grind make you better. I can now write something that is at least understandable and can communicate an idea, well, maybe. In relation to time, I spend a lot 6 hours a day writing documents: secondary essays for medical school, grant applications, technical documents, and other small times. While committing to 6 hours worth of work for my thesis, side project, and so on so forth. The time I spend writing whether complete POS or 180 degree difference only makes me better at writing. In return, allows me to put forward my best work to showcase myself with the most amount of polish to MD PhD programs. If you want to be your best, you have to put your time in, nothing comes for free.
The Red Pill is about male sexual strategy and component of that is being really good at stuff. To be good require putting in the time. I am 110% positive that GLO or any of banner TRPs would say the same thing. The most common example is lift, notice how frequently its mention and the strength of message about lifting? There is a reason for that, lifting in an activity that build routine, esteem, and discipline. My major TPR fault is that I don't live up to the lifting doctrine of TPR, however, I have the discipline it instills in you. Without discipline writing would not happen for me, I loath doing it. The reason is because I am not good and never will be Pulitzer Price winner but that does not mean I should give up.
Returning to my rejection from medical school on nerd steroids, I had not put in my 10,000 hours. I was not worthy of taking the first step in making my dream a reality. I am better for bit and have become worthy. Choose something in your life that you want anything. It can be to fuck that HB10, earn 500K in a year, have a FFFM foursome, what ever the fuck you desire, go for it. Be willing to put in the 10,000 hours because at the end you will emerge a stronger man.
