This is a song from an Aussie hip hop duo 'The Hilltop Hoods' called "The Light You Burned" about his ex an how it was ..
and it's summarizes a "confused beta" relationship perfectly!
and a cool red pill transition at the end ... I think you guys will enjoy it
btw These guys are master wordsmiths and they don't sing about the usual crap .... check this out for an incredible song called "Fifty in Five" which is basically a summary of the past 50 yrs of the world's 'modern history' ,, in five minutes!
I think this is modern poetry AND you can understand what they say! lol
I hope you appreciate their subtlety and puns as much as I do ,, these dudes get triple meanings happening in a few words! (which is why I put the version with the lyrics, as they say so much! with the words they use!) There are some quite nice versions where people have added images to the song, and they're ok but a bit hard to understand as these guys speak quite quickly at times, with lots of 'double meanings' etc
