Would it be useful? Absolutely, I'd love to have a 'little helper', as you put it.

Then again, it's for the same reasons I'd want an LTR - someone to do the little shit I don't want to do.

EDIT: It's also important that your friends are giving you some sort of value back, in whatever way you want. If your friends are just accepting favors and not giving you anything back, you're being screwed over.

Do you hear the words you're spewing? This is so bluepill I'm shocked. Why would someone want to be a sidekick in their own story. Throw away that sidekick bullshit thinking right now! Being small isn't the end of the world. Yes, friends do help friends out with things. But, it's a two-way street. Have they ever helped you with anything? If not, drop them; they are not friends. LOL, yes, I would love to have a little helper around; who wouldn't want one? You shouldn't aim to be someone's sidekick.

The correct term is 'partner.' However: permanently trustworthy partners are rarer than unicorns.

I don't see why anyone would have to resign themselves to JUST such a role.

I don't like that you seem awfully stuck on peoples' height as a measure of their character,wiser people than I have pointed out that height is a small part of looks which in turn only somewhat contribute to someone's SMV.

My advice to you:take from them what you can if they indeed display alpha traits but at least make sure to do your own thing and hang out with people where you get to display your own value.I would also advise to drop them(at least at a later point) if you feel they're exploiting you just to make themselves look good but that's for you to decide.

I don't agree at all with your mentality. I understand that you feel good by helping others, but you seem to have a big Inferiority Complex in the sense that you actually enjoy beeing the sidekick (or "the little helper") in someone else's life.

I used to feel insecure about how I looked compared to them, but that went away once I developed a sidekick mentality.

Basically what you are saying is instead of improving yourself to get to their level (or at least see them as equals), you prefered to just stay in the background and pretend it's ok.

I think guys who have more of the leader mentality could use a sidekick to help them out

Well of course having a sidekick is always useful, but why aren't you the leader? Forget about the height stuff, like you said, it's about the mentality. You might be a good friend, but what about your needs? Who's gonna look out for you? Don't put everyone else before you bruh.
