On my mostly successful quest for frame control, I've been learning to deal with all sorts of women in the workplace out of sheer necessity. Usually, these were the frumpy types I'd merely let have their way of words or gestures toward me. I didn't want them, so why'd I care if they had their fits?
Whether they be leads, petty (pun intended) supervisors, or even newbs on the job, these women have a mean, bossy way to them. It's only worse with them at home, I can easily imagine. As a result, a lot of men are perennially henpecked. Not me anymore.
I simultaneously find common ground with even the beta-est of guys while giving quips to the females around when I think their curtness has exceeded politeness. Thinking about it, I give them an equal dose of their medicine. Almost benign, but letting the knockdowns add up could affect your psyche, hence inner game. Worst-case scenario so far, they find something else minor to briefly nag about (i.e. unconscious shit-test), but just more of the same from yours truly with a dash of self-humor, rinse/repeat. I'm able to move on with my day, or sleep things off if it's a bad day for other reasons.
My motivation was salvaging frame when inevitably being hit with hierarchy knockdowns in the workplace. Just because a hot girl witnessed it and may judge you for your low standing despite having a winning attitude (working on the 'winning' part), you know internally that you did something proactive for yourself. Let that manifest into the full-blown frame you're capable of holding through life.
