Lurked for a bit, wanted to give a bit of info on how my first week has been. Very powerful and liberating.

Backstory: Typical nice guy, thought it was honourable not to want things from people, live without desire and not be demanding of people. Had no boundaries and dealt with this by spending most of the time by myself. Invisible to women and had intense fear of being disliked or controversial/provocative.

Things I've learnt/internalising in 1 week:

  1. Nice should be looked at with scorn and disgust. This isn't to say be an asshole, you can still be kind generous giving etc.

  2. Find any aspect of yourself that is nice and destroy it. Remember to be nice is to be disingenuous. Aim to be provocative so people have to react to you.

  3. The first person to be kind to is yourself. Don't pretend that you don't have needs or that it is honourable to not demand things from people. People will enjoy your company if you are demanding and require effort to be around.

  4. After realising what your needs are, create boundaries to ensure you are getting what you want from people/relationships/job etc. If you are not getting what you want you are being weak and it should not be viewed positively.

  5. People will begin to respect you. You were never 'liked' when being nice, you were invisible and did not provoke any intense feelings inside people.

  6. You will being to be shit tested by more people as you show your inner strength. This is a good thing. Don't worry about failing as long as you see the shit test for what it is and learn for next time. Be congruent, people want to hear your opinion, not a validation of their own.

  7. TRP is not just for picking up women or any other single issue. Although it will help in whatever specific area you are struggling with there is a danger that you will not be congruent when only applying it in one scenario. Rather, fully embrace it and use it as shit tests on other people, if they disagree then realise a boundary has been crossed.

  8. You will struggle to implement this with blue pill long term friends, this is difficult but realise that you are the only one who will champion your needs, do what needs to be done to fulfill them.

  9. This isn't a battle, there is no manipulation. You will lose bitterness that you may have held for a long time. You will create powerful connections and get on with people you used to be jealous of. You will start having fun. Being TRP can be tiring but it is worth it.

Bit more info. A female friend out of the blue said I was an awesome guy but I am too nice.

Examples of improvements within 1 week:

  1. Was queuing when this girl cut in front of me (should have said something but I'm getting there). Thought for a moment and decided to step right to the front and gave the cashier eye contact. Girl steps right to the front too but on her phone, giving a bitchy vibe. When cashier asks who is next looks straight at me. Felt more assertive not being walked over and was still friendly etc (being TRP doesn't mean being a dick, something which pre-TRP, I thought assertiveness was, probably just jealousy).

  2. Realised that people want to be challenged and be demanded from. I'm very demanding now when I am talking to people. I am more fun and more jokey. Girls responding well to this, can feel a better vibe, got asked to go to a club by one, hesitated as I'm still getting to grips with fact that I am allowed to fulfill my needs.

  3. When bosses at work cross a boundary I am straight-forward about it, say why something isn't fair etc. Rather than being fired or told to shut up they will take my point of view in to account. I am starting to be respected.
