That's the way your body works, bro. Maybe cycle between the two? Eight weeks weight lifting, eight weeks martial arts.

So much of this right now. The only reason I quit doing combat sports was because my favourite trainer left the gym where I trained. I'm doing a strength regime currently (rather than bulking) because I found out he's opening his own gym. As soon as my contract is up and his gym is open, I'll be back into Muay Thai and shoot fighting. I had gains up to 115kg at the gym, and it made me feel sluggish, bulky and just fucking HUNGRY all the time. Being big is expensive. As where when I trained under…

That last line is almost on the money. I would argue it can be broadened a little to include all collectivist cultures. Collectivist cultures include the highly religious communities, highly family-oriented cultures where things like divorce are considered an embarrassment to the whole family. It's because the women in these cultures have more of a "How will it look to others?" hamster spinning, rather than a "What am I getting out of this relationship?" one. It's at the point now where I've dec…

Not too sure about this. I mean, I understnad the "waste not, want not" philosophy, but I would have to be drunk or extremely curious to eat floor scraps.

I can verify #6. Chick looking for a relationship happily hooks up with me at a moment's notice. No talk of monogamy, not interested in what she's looking for. I just make her laugh and keep my frame. Can also verify #1. Since putting on muscles...Damn. I regularly employ #4 myself to keep women from getting too close. My pipeline is so full it creates other problems.

Okay, I'll concede that about the Pope. Still, I refer you to the New Testament and the period of Scholasticism. They at least provide some evidence for the changing of religion. In the Oxford English Dictionary, gender is defined as, "[i]n mod. (esp. feminist) use, a euphemism for the sex of a human being, often intended to emphasize the social and cultural, as opposed to the biological, distinctions between the sexes." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_and_gender_distinction#History The point i…

What the Freud is going on up in this thread? You must be an early stages psych major, or someone taking an interest in the field. I'm going to make assumptions and address each one as we go. Feel free to correct these and I'll find time later today to change what I'm saying to (hopefully) be of some benefit to you. Straight up, having a bad relationship with your parents doesn't really mean much. Outside of downright abusive relationships, this isn't really going to affect you much. What's goin…

I'm going to share with you guys my experience with crazy in a LTR (lesson learned LONG before coming to TRP.) Things started out great. The sex was wild and lasted for hours at a time. In the heat of summer I would have to flip the mattress up on the bed for a couple of days and sleep on the couch after she'd been around to let the pools of sweat dry up. It wasn't uncommon to break for a drink or have a water bottle on hand those nights. After a period of months we got serious with each other. …

I remember reading your last (?) post about this. You make for fascinating reading, my friend. It really is an interesting turn of events. Just a hundred years ago, "gender" and "sex" essentially meant the same thing. You were identified by your biological role in furthering the human race. That association, I would offer, has become a social construct because of LGBT acceptance, not because of "the Patriarchy." The almost surgical separation of the two terms means that now "gender differences" …

I reckon that, as TRP grows, this will happen by attrition...or the gene pool will adjust accordingly over generations and - guess what? - this will happen. EDIT: Going into a hypothetical tailspin in my mind, here, but imagine our human species splitting off into two distinct species due to different mating practises.

Young gun here with a v-twin naked sports bike. Can vouch for this guy's game. Haha. Rode regularly with mates who have the full sports bike and can't really reach back because they're just trying to stay upright. If you don't want to go full cruiser, at least go naked sports. That said, the thing just makes me want to go full cruiser anyway.

I'm sick of this dichotomous relationship. If you're not one, you're the other. This is really a ranking system regarding a woman's options. These are extremes of a continuum. You don't have to be "pure alpha" if all the competition is beta as fuck. You only have to be more alpha than the other guys.
/r/TheRedPill15/07/14 04:42 AM
1

Alpha is a mindset. Everything else is follow on. Start calling yourself alpha and remind yourself everyday. Now that's out of the way, has she paid you back all this money? If not, it doesn't matter how much she's "stressing" over paying you back, it could well just be a front. Don't trust until the desired result happens.

If you were a more experienced TRP man, I would probably be scolding you over your oneitis and not slaughtering pussy all over the cruise ship...But since you're 16 and inexperienced, good job. Take what you've learned and keep practising. It'll only get better.

This. My ex is a fantastic cook and I rarely have to pay for a meal. Sure when I see her, she talks about "guy friends," but I have zero reaction because I have zero attraction. As long as you're happy doing your own thing, it doesn't matter. If she can get to you AT ALL, don't go there. That's my advice.

Barely legal: Is attraction and estimated age of young female faces disrupted by alcohol use, make up, and the sex of the observer? This is one primo piece of scientific evidence for the wall. Basically these researchers created a composite face of a mature person and an immature person, and measured sexual attractiveness ratings. I love this quote: A non-sex-specific preference for immature faces over sexually mature faces was found. Alcohol and make-up did not inflate attractiveness ratings in…

LMR is just another shit test women throw at you, really. She didn't explicitly say things like "I'm not comfortable with this," but she dodged. Don't worry, though. This happens. I had a hell of an experience first woman after taking TRP. Bitch broke down after making out with me, telling me she had a boyfriend. We were at a taxi rank about to go back to hers.

That's why I say disregard his words. The message underlying is perfectly clear. I'm sure somebody knows a blog post somewhere that says the same thing without the doublespeak, though. Not meaning to call this a gem, just offering some perspective. The take home message I got from this was "Be dominant, but don't explicitly acknowledge you're being dominant. Call it assertive or confident instead. Let the dominant part be unspoken." ...that is until the kinky stuff starts.

My theory on this is simple, that obnoxious attitude communicates an underlying confidence in yourself, assertion of control over the situation and the lack of a supplicating beta attitude. There's a bit in this article about confirmation bias, which I would invite you to go back and read. I'm not denying the results of being an asshole, I'm just saying that the theory underlying being an asshole is not so dissimilar to being a "prestigious male." TL;DR - "prestigious male" and "obnoxious asshol…

They say "leadership" is not important, but then completely flip on that by saying "Assertiveness" is one of the most attractive personality features in a man. What's a leader if not assertive? Again, it's all terminology and toning. I'm seeing women contradicting themselves in this study and not even recognising it. They just don't want to spell it out.

I think there is a mismatching of definitions between the article and TRP. Not to say it's a bad thing, just that the article actually agrees with us here on the sub. Don't get caught up in the words he's using and read the message being conveyed. Assertive, high value, confident... These terms sound like terms I hear quite regularly here.

Why should we care? We're not here to criticise religion or science. We're here to call ourselves out on our shit, produce our own results and live a happier life. Science and religion don't give a shit if you're RP or BP, so buck the fuck up and do your thing. I personally think science is entering another "Dark Age" similar to what scholasticism did to it so many years ago. If you're 50 pounds overweight (20-25kg with back of the envelope math,) You don't need to over think it. Just like everyone's been saying. Look at some of your worst foods and try to cut them out a bit. Hit the gym and get a basic program (maybe a pt can help you with that, otherwise the internet is loaded with programs.) Be less worried about your weight and google the healthy ratio for men. I think it's chest/hip. You can bring your weight into the equation later.

Agreed on the Sunday thing. I've really got better things to be doing (like sleeping off work, servicing my motorbike, band practice, catching up on UFC...) So I'm not giving that time to her by any stretch. I was also thinking about calling her out on going to the coast as it's the middle of winter here in Australia. Okay, I can see two things that are holding you back from internalizing the pill in it's entirety. First is that you are suffering from being set in the roles that were defined early in the relationship. Check out Zimbardo's prison experiment to understand what I'm talking about. The second thing is that you're afraid to be alone. It depends. I've used social media to a) reconnect with long lost relatives, b) plan parties, social gatherings and group holidays, c) scope out new places, judge popularity of new restaraunts before going out to dinner. There's heaps more I use it for, and I've got my security features sorted out. Yes, there's always an element of "look how good my life is" on there, or ranting and raving about something, but there's a lot more to it when you use social media right.

I agree. I might be inclined to enter an LTR, and I definitely want kids, but I know a few unspoken RP families that never got married and couldn't be happier. First off, you're right. I got emotional, I got caught up. I mentioned that in my last post. I can see we do agree on things a little bit. So. . .which would you rather fuck; a 6 with tattoos, or an 8 without? Well, the 8, obviously. But an 8 with tattoos would get preferential treatment again. If you think getting a tattoo is a sign of masculinity AND de-valuing of the self, then you are too old to appreciate a good tattoo. These rules appear very old world to me. There's a lot of these that I can argue against, but it comes down to personal preference. For one, tattoos don't carry the same meaning they used to (except the specific gang affiliation, military, sailor, etc.) Also, if a woman wants to brag about how good I am, go ahead. Preselection.

Think for second about how this would play out if the script was flipped. Have you seen anyone trying to get with her? How do they act? You can make it clear that you're not interested in her, sure. But does she show those guys that level of respect? Ultimately, it comes down to your own moral compass. Do what you think/feel is right. Elliot Hulse talks about getting out of your head. Essentially, yes. Carbs don't... "weigh much" in your appetite satiation quota. Complex carbs are your best friend (think sweet potato, brown rice, even wholegrain bread in a pinch) as they take a little longer to convert into sugars ad cause the insulin spike. Balance is the key, though. Not elimination. More protein (think steaks, fish) should take longer to masticate and slow you down. It takes twenty minutes (my lecturer never stipulated from what point, I've sort of pieced together that it'…

Correct me if I am wrong, but I once heard that keto says that excessive carbs are turned into glycogen and fat, but I say that excessive energy from calories is turned into glycogen and fat. Excessive carbs will make you fat, yes. This is because excessive carbs generally comes from overeating. Increase vegetables on your plate, reduce rice and pasta a bit. Don't go full paleo. I'm still fairly new at this myself, but I've found this to be the single most important part of understanding Red Pill as a social construct. Your frame is your base. It's your core principles based on what works. Everytime somebody mentions "don't lose your frame" they basically mean "don't break your principles to pander to her/him/them." Your frame makes you who you want to be. Specifics get discussed all the time here and you can find plenty of example principles people use like "always esc…

i'll be more or less still in my prime Mate, you haven't even entered your prime yet. You peak around the time a woman walls. Remember this. Right now is the equivalent of "playtime" for you. Downgrade her to a plate and look for more would be my advice.

I once heard a quote stating that when a young tree gets cut, that scar is a significant portion of that trees identity. As the tree grows older, and bigger, the scar is the same size, but in proportion to this larger and wiser tree, it is insignificant and is no longer a big pat of the trees life. I can see a lot of comments about this quote. You'll be surprised how small that scar seems after you set up your frame and maintain it for a little while.

Re-reading this, I really think I should've labelled this "Hypergamy vs. The Wall." I'm sure she's older than me, and I think she's in her early 30's. I have a feeling this might have been a factor working against me and for her BB provider.

Basically being on your terms. You make the decisions, you crack the jokes, you lead the interactions. Keep the other party in a passive "follower" role. I really like OP's strategy, though to me it still sounds like when "deferring frame" they're still keeping frame because it's still on OP's terms.

Don't let bitches get away with that shit IMO. Women are supposed to be emotional about everything and you should feel nothing but more lust that you're creating enough emotion in her to resort to crying. Pretty much. Introspection and reflection is helping pinpoint exactly where I left my frame, now I just need to look at how to prevent that happening again. There were a few other small missteps, but I'm fast learning that it doesn't have to be perfect. Like evolution, you only have to be super…

There's a fine line between collecting and hoarding. My friend, I think you may have woken up to yourself. I would say get an archive box. Fit everything you want to keep in that archive box. Anything that doesn't fit, goes. The criteria are up to you - keep them based on value, age, whatever, but don't do more thna one box. I helped my mum do this with her LP collection, and she only kept the real gems in the end.

Well, elaboration isn't really what a hypothesis is about. It needs to be a succinct statement about something I predict will be found in an experiment. In this case, I think that people who are more likely to get addicted to substances are also more likely to develop an emotional attachment to healthy lifestyle choices (lifting weights, running) and hobbies (creating music, writing, wood and metal working, etc.) I would probably have to break this down into several hypotheses. Hypothesis 1: Pas…

Well that's the catch. The loan doesn't go away. Ever. It stays there the rest of your life and you'll feel it hit your tax when you start to earn big money. Passion in and of itself is not a fairytale. I'm still upvoting because I agree with the rest of your post. But people don't go to university and study gruelling degrees for money. This means that if you stay confident that you could go from the relationship to plate spinning quickly, you'll be less likely to fall into beta-provider, thereby keeping your SO on her toes and keeping the relationship alive. Stop bringing it up altogether, then. My mum is very similar. You have to play panda, but you don't have to straight up lie to her. It's easier to change the subject if it comes up or talk about the outcome rather than your actions. Source: 25 years of avoiding topics with my own mother.

She'll shit when she wakes up one morning to you, family and friends gathered around the dining table and you each take a turn to tell her "enough of your shit!"

Join a group/class doing something you like (learning Spanish whatever) go alone! I'd probably recommend this even if you have a few friends. You'll only make more and get invited to more events.

I think I hit this realisation in time. I didn't do something stupid and I'll take this advice onboard. I think I was just relishing in my first instance of success / kicking myself over not closing.

Pretty sure I can get away with it. Not on a work computer. Just at work. My job doesn't see me getting hovered over 24/7, and as long as i'm not looking at (surprisingly) Facebook, should be right.

I'm quickly learning that my job has incubated me for the open. it's not about having a specific script or line. In fact I can generate conversation from the weather, phones, my interests, somebody's plans. In fact, as far as status goes within my team, I'm probably well above the supervisors. I build rapport with the top echelons of the company. Not by having a "line" that works. Here's a tip, if it's crowded, mention it to her. If she's carrying note it and ask if she's coming or going. Find t…

Oh, and as an update, I fumbled on the perfect moment to close (20/20 hindsight). And yes, this has in fact (at least temporarily) completely killed my AA.

Snap. Was having beta thoughts about my recent ex (who I have to confront momentarily.) Three times I distracted her from study, once she got out of her seat and crossed the room, then on the way out the door she still stopped to ask if I'll be in tomorrow. I could feasibly show up to pick up some of my gear (uniform, etc.) I'm having coffee with a mate, anyway. Also, about that ex comment. I can see I'm still at early stages of taking the pill. It's barely on the tip of my tongue. Fuck you, bit…

This hit me recently. I've since taken the guitar back up (with surprising results), gotten back into motorcycles, taken up the gym and diet, and now RP has introduced me to Game. Yep, I list it as a hobbie. I need to figure out what my goals with it are (and I do intend to keep it above board,) but yeah. Oh, and snowboarding and mountain biking. Can NOT forget them. Each one is more or less seasonal, fitting around the other. I have other hobbies in mind, but I don't want to fill up my time com…

If you're not happy, leave. Red Pill Up and go get some lay. Source: Had this problem. Now ex is sniffing around of her own accord. It's nitce to hold the balance of power.

EDIT: I can still see some blue pill crap floating around in my day-to-day. But for 48 hours, I'm not complaining. I can pinpoint the exact moment swalled TRP , outside a cafe as I was about to have breakfast with my (now ex) girflriend. This happened two days ago. There we were, in the aftermath of another argument, hardly talking. I suggested a place and was met with a flat no reply. She then started berating me over not being able to make a decision about where to eat. I pulled another beta m…
