I work in a Muslim country. Every Friday, the men leave work in the middle of the day to go pray. Only the women remain at work. This is balanced by allowing women 2 consecutive days per month to miss work for menstrual cramps. Work should continue on Friday in theory because half the work force remains in the building, but in reality everything comes to a halt. Absolutely nothing happens until the men return from the mosque. Often the women just gather in a meeting room to talk. I'm not mad about it or judging it, just thought it might be interesting for the TRP group.
