Long before the metaphor of the Matrix and the subsequent Red Pill Theory existed (40 years ago) I was brutally awakened from the Land of the Lotus Eaters. This was when I was force fed what I call the Black Pill. The Black and Red Pill have in common that they awaken one from the narcotic of the Blue Pill Feminist Imperative. The difference would be a comparison between Modern Surgery Techniques, Antibiotics and Pain Killers (Red Pill) and the rough Frontier Medicine of a Bottle of Cheap Whiskey and a Red Hot Fire Poker applied to a Gun Shot Wound (Black Pill)

I was ten at the time and didn't do any mind altering substances until my teens so for me the black pill was a purely external/social experience; like war or a tornado.
