I wouldn't say he deserves a medal personally and this is my reason why.

The whole rough sex because he found out she wanted to swing branches sounds pretty butthurt. If he had abundance mentality, her wanting to swing branches shouldn't even have phased him. He could have simply left.

Instead he acted on his emotions and put himself in a situation where he could very likely be prosecuted for sexual assault. I just don't think this is something we should be looking to with admiration.

That was my reaction. Not interested in the debate of whether or not this was sexual assault (though any good prosecutor probably could convince some jury or another that was the case), but rather this was a shitty showing of behavior on the guy's part.

Reeks of butthurt, revenge, etc.

Just pack up her shit, leave it by the door, and walk away from the relationship.

It actually takes more strength to NOT extract revenge in this situation.

Of course, this being TRP board, I have no expectation of universal agreement on this one.

I agree with you mostly because

he could very likely be prosecuted for sexual assault.

Sadly that is where reality kicks in, even in the comments you can see the advice given. Saying that I don't see how it would keep up in court.

But I don't agree that he sounds butthurt or not shown abundance mentality, he obviously shows he has no problem leaving the girl behind, just shown her he knows what she's up to and devalued her in ways she did not expect. Sure wasn't necessary but I loved reading it. ;-)

He sounds butthurt because he specifically mentions the name of the guy that the OP wanted to swing branches to after he rough-fucked her.

One thing that keeps coming up in TRP is the fact that very often you don't owe anyone any explanations. Had he pumped and dumped she would have come up with her own reasons for his actions and her hamster would probably go into over drive to try and get him back.

But because he explained his actions, her hamster will go into overdrive but instead, to try and justify to herself that she is in fact a victim of a cruel monster.

He could have fucked her and just said nothing and left and it would have appeared infinitely better. Instead he made her know that it was all about her infidelity and in doing so came across as very butthurt.

You have a point there, but considering this guy may not be aware of the wealth of knowledge to be found here and probably IS a little butthurt (we have to consider he may of invested a lot of time in her and feeling betrayed is natural) I think he did a top notch job taking care of himself and that girl while moving on.

In an ideal situation yes, he could of said nothing and simply left driving her crazy but away from that I like the way he handled it, how often do we read it being handled the exact opposite where the guy thinks she is falling out of love with him for his own reasons?

In the end, maybe not a medal or a role model but a pat on the back at least.

A pat on the back for cutting a cheating bitch out of his life. Yes definitely.

But a pat on the back for putting himself in an unnecessary and sticky situation? No way.

We already know that women have a propensity to follow the hivemind. With all those comments encouraging the OP to press charges, the chances of a (unnecessary) lawsuit become exponentially higher.

If the guy get prosecuted and convicted, how long do you think he'll be patting his back for?

On another note I can see how one would view this scenario as a triumph. When you've been wronged by women for a good portion of your life, you think a little poetic justice is in order. However in the world we live in, such desires can come across as dangerous fantasies.

By practicing the TRP you learn to let go of all those childish fantasies and see the world as it really is.

I appreciate you coming in with such a clear mind, you are definitely correct.

you think a little poetic justice is in order.

That's it, it's nice to see guys out there not taking shit and moving on with a bit of a "Ouch" burn kind of ending. But ultimately, what matters is that revenge is unnecessary, use all that energy on ignoring it and improving yourself.

Thanks for setting me back in the right frame of mind.

So let's summarize:

  • woman cheats emotionally for 3 weeks consistently
  • woman plans to meet "other man" out
  • woman actually meets "other man" out
  • clearly looking to swing to that branch if things go well

TwoX recommends filing a false charge against her current BF which will most likely ruin his life.

And we're supposed to be the crazy extremists. Right.

[–]mr_wilz 4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yep, I couldn't believe the comments really, press charges, sexual assault it wasn't consented? What are you talking about? In the OP it says she complied, she had her choice.

Girl got what she deserved and props to the guy for pulling it off, absolutely beautiful.

And we're supposed to be the crazy extremists. Right.

Also racists, I saw the other day in The Blue Pill how they are 'analysing' TRP'ers and found 22 affiliated people with racist sub reddits. They called TRP'ers racist, a racist subreddit.

22 out of 85 thousand subscribed people.. I can't even.. how do they... I mean these people do have brains right?

[–]MyNewAccount9 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This quote says it all:

I guess we're over, well I'm pretty sure we're done and through. Nothing I can do to salvage this relationship.... I may want to press charges?!

She's like a movie villain: She progresses from "I wants it," to "I cant has it?" to "I punish it!"

Ick.

[–]N0tWithThatAttitude 4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

BF tells her to get on her knees, she knew what was going to happen, there was plenty of time to say no when he was getting his cock out. If it was really against her will she could have bitten it, she'd say she was crying, telling him to stop but nope, none of that.

It was consensual and she's only thinking of pressing charges because it was followed with the breakup and she wants revenge.

Petty petty bitch.

[–]northsidefugitive 5 points6 points7 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Exactly, there's a difference between a hatefuck and rape, she gave consent, but when she realized he'd done it for one last sadistic hurrah, that hurt her feelings. TwoX of course says those bad feelings equal rape.

[–]1spicy_fries 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

but I could just use some support and advice.

This just sounds fake to me.

[–]grachuss 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I had rough sex with an ex after she cheated, then just got up and bounced when I was done. I guess I'm a rapist, and I should go turn myself in to the closest precinct.

[–]thinktankman 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Bro you need to write your thoughts on what you post what you learned etc...

With that being said homeboy did assault her and if he was smart he would've left and went no contact. Not set himself up to be arrested. Getting revenge physically is to damn easy fuck with her mind if you want payback.
