I'm certain most people are going to bash me and disagree with everything I said, slipping further into the illusion that the way things are done on this sub is the way they should act in real life, but I was hoping at least a couple people would read this and think, "This guy is right, the top post on the front page is about single mothers being shitty, terrible human beings, how the fuck does that make sense?"

While I may not know exactly how this sub "feels and thinks" and you may not know exactly the same about me regardless of what you may believe, I can get a good understanding by sorting the posts by top and all time and seeing the BS that makes it there.

I didn't see the post about single mothers, but if you do some research into it, you will find that children raised by single mothers tend to all kinds of anti-social and destructive behaviors, and this imposes a huge cost on society.

I'll admit, I haven't done any sort of extensive research into the topic. I've only spoken from experience and already retained knowledge. The issue I have is the over-generalization of single mothers. And if I wasn't mobile, I would link to some sites, but just a quick search informs me there are negative effects to being raised by a single-father as well.

I know about as many single fathers as I do mothers. The mothers are drunken woo-girls who leave their children with their parents while they go snort coke, the single fathers I know live in towns they can barely afford to live in so their child can attend some of the best public schools in the country.
I've never known a man so respectable and put together as a single father, and I've never met a woman more reprehensible and narcissistic as a single mother.

First off, in my dating crusades Ive talked to tons of single mothers and done a few.. and the stuff they do with their lives, time, home, to get laid or get some attention is disgusting. The shit they say about their exs they had kids with is sad because they describe an average good dude that just got boring to them compared to the temporary fake persona of people hitting on them. A woman that casually implodes her childs family (and yes, most do it very casually) really are scum. Theyre also too stupid to realize I say things to get into their pants because I know what they dont like to hear.
Her: Do you like football? Me: No i honestly find it a waste of time and unmasculine to spend my days watching millionaires do what they love while I get futher away from that because im sitting on a couch drinking. Her: omg thats so true my ex used to spend so much time watching sports.
Were having sex soon. Thats why theyre scum. They allow the image of their childs father to be ruined by some bs words just so they can get wet and fucked.

I too do not agree with all of the post here on this sub, but I must admit that at least 75% of them are great posts that truly provide value in my eyes.
A SINGLE SWALLOW DOES NOT MAKE A SUMMER.

EDIT: just to be clear, that 99.9% figure is exaggerated, it's not exact. It was my way of saying "the majority" - do not be so literal. Factor in some context, it's a rant after all.

You're right, I missed that edit. Although the main point behind my post is still the same, but I should of read through the post I was referencing more clearly. And yes there does seem to be a small amount of users on this sub that picks and chooses the content they decide to absorb, but an alarming amount of users also seem to live by this sub and accept any high-ranking post as completely factual.

I agree sometimes the generalizations on this sub stretch the limits. However, the truly valuable information on this sub creates a disjunct sociological theory of male-female interaction that is backed up by a lot of rational observation.

I appreciate this comment and do recognize that there are some people on here that do search for truly valuable content and ignore the rest, what worries me is there are a lot of people on here that actually see women as lesser beings and I remember seeing a top post about treating women like children because the OP compared them to being alike in terms of emotional capability.
