Introduction
You have to get out of your head.
Body
Let's take an example:
Hypergamy... what is it really?
Hypergamy is the thought that pops into the head of every female that has ever existed on this earth (AWALT) that if a higher value mate is present that she would desire to "trade up" in order to get him. Women are quite literally born to shop.
Hypergamy is itself a thought.
Okay, now let's look at Branch Swinging:
While Hypergamy is the thought to switch partners the actual action of making the switch is a Branch Swing.
So to summarize:
Thought ---> Hypergamy
Action ---> Branch Swing
Not all thoughts make it to action.
Moving along here...
Okay so now you go to the gym.
You look at the weight and think about lifting it.
Nothing happens.
You think harder....
Still nothing.
Then you realize:
Oh yeah... I need to actually do something to get the weight to rise.
Another example:
You want to be extroverted and be able to approach women but you are inhibited and introverted.
What do you do?
Do you claim victim status as an "introvert" and "born that way" and simply give up on approaching?
Well you could... that's called "rationalizing" and many men over the ages have been cowards that convinced themselves that staying in their head is better that attempting action.
What would be better is to start approaching and learn how to extrovert yourself and be social. It's like a muscle for everyone and can be strengthened.
Conclusion
Thought is not Action.
To move from thought to action requires practice.
You say you can't approach and want to stay in your head? Well if you keep thinking like that you will never get to the point of action.
The Red Pill should be seen as assisting you to see a positive direction to go in and also to assist in your actually improving yourself so you can take action with confidence.
Confidence is just the end result of having done action in the past.
