Truth be told, I stumbled upon this one quite accidentally, as I'm actually awful at remembering people's name when I first meet them, but it has never failed to build attraction.

This tip is obviously for after initial attraction has been established and a rapport has been built (file under: neg/rapport break)... The deeper into the established rapport you can take this the better the overall results will be (five minutes? meh results. get away with it after two hours? pretty golden).

Forget her name while talking to her. Be polite about it, be non-chalant, even a little embarrassed, but with a big cocky smile always; "haha, I can't believe this... whats your name again?" or whichever variation you prefer. Hey, you have a lot going on; you're a busy man; you meet a lot of people; you're still being polite- and you're owning the error.

Had a date from OKC about a month ago... Came straight from work, all very impromptu. Had been texting the girl for only a few days, and I have a lot going on in my life. After a half hour (about) at the bar with her, post-attraction and having established a good rapport, I had admitted my folly. I was polite, apologized, and told her I was embarrassed. She was shocked and appalled, and I even added that if she "had a pen" she could "write it on my hand so I won't forget again." I knew I was golden when she brought it up SEVERAL times later in the evening, while cozying up to me and rubbing my thigh.
