Seriously?

I don't know from that phrasing if the trolls are feminists, they're anti-feminists who are attacking feminists, or they're all feminists.

Maybe it's intentional obfuscation. "An Open Letter to my Critics" is less effective click bait.

Instead of looking for crowd opinions to absorb, let me introduce you to the side bar. It's chock full of links to blogs and other great reading that will help you as a newbie. Generally speaking, what is posted thread wise is confirmation of theory, or posts to inspire discussion about theory. But if you actually want to learn and progress, go to the sidebar. Read it once, then read it again. Read the blogs. Then get involved. That way when you see a video that you don't like, you will be able to articulate why, instead of asking others to digest the information for you.

Thanks. That's very helpful. I actually got into a very lengthy debate about this video and have a lot of personal ideas about why I disagree with it so strongly. What I'm mostly after is hearing some other likeminded peoples' opinions on the video. I started reading some books, blogs, and websites about TRP but I'm still trying to gain enough of an understanding to apply it and I tend to learn by example.
