He means respond to. And I don't differentiate between what they want and what they respond to. If what they say they want isn't what they respond to, then I would say that that's not really what they wanted. It's just what they say they want or what they think they want.

Introspection is not a gift most women have. Men were told they had to be in control of their emotions, so they looked inward to figure out where those emotions came from. Women are not told they need to control their emotions, so they rarely self-analyze.

Great analysis. I've never thought of it that way. I often explain it as there being this large "distance" for women between their brain and their emotions and instincts. When a woman says she's attracted to nice, sensitive guys they actually believe that. So much is unconcious for them. That's the cornerstone of the red pill. There's a large distance between what women say or even think they want and what they actually want / respond to.
