TL;DR: After having the privilege of being mentored by some of the top posters on this sub, and surrounding myself around winners, here are some maxims that have worked for me. Feel free to critique these.

Work harder than everyone else. No matter where you are or what you do, working harder than everyone else will get you further. I hear some other students say that its about the people you know and not the grades you make. Grades and knowledge of the field, and connections will take take you further than just knowing someone. That person will not stand up for you if you’re a sack of shit even if you are his frat bro — you have to make him look good.

Give value, don’t take it. Some of the wealthiest and most charismatic people I know, just radiate value. One of my friend’s family owns a ton of luxurious apartment complexes in the city, and he always offers me his building to throw parties and he is always introducing me to exclusive people and recently pulled some strings to get me an interview for my dream job. Be like that friend of mine. Always find ways to give people value instead of sucking it. This mindset is also the mindset of a winner — if you approach a girl, think about how your enthusiasm and energy will make her happy. Don’t approach her with the intention of sucking out the energy out of her.

Talk to everyone. Everywhere you are, TALK TO EVERYONE. This is the only way to become alpha.

Don’t judge people. In public, I don’t trash talk anyone or speak negatively about anyone, unless they’re talking shit about me. If they start talking shit about me, I don’t ever get defensive, instead I go on the offense and attack them. Furthermore, I don’t really ever talk shit about other people unless they start it because I think its low class and not even worth my time.

Failure is alright. When I first started going on dates, I failed miserable. I remember I would come on here and message one of my mentors and he would critique what I did right and wrong, and what I should do moving forward. I used the pain from failure to stay motivated and I used every failure as a learning experience. Failure is okay if you learn from it. Buy a calendar or use Google Calendar. To get the most out of every minute of the day, I use my google calendar and plan out my week an advance and overnight before I go to sleep I plan out the next day down to every 30 minutes.

Be honest from the start, and don’t disappoint people in the long run. I used to HATE upsetting people. I would tell friends that I would go out to their things despite knowing in advance that I had homework or something else, but I didn’t want them to feel bad, but then they’d feel worst when I flaked. Its better to be honest from the start. If a girl doesn’t want to be your plate and wants something more serious, its better to just be honest and risk losing her than stringing her along.

Your identity plays a big role. Imagine yourself as the 6’2, Alpha male, 200lb, 8% body fat. Visualize yourself as that person. If you think and act like you are that man, others will treat you like that, and you start having more self-respect. I don’t eat Oreos anymore because an 8% BF stud wouldn’t do that and I don’t take shit from anyone. The other day someone called me a fool in a malicious tone, and I said: “Nobody calls me a fool, buddy. What are you going to do? Apologize? I don’t think so…” Yes I did steal that from Trump btw.

Be high energy and confident. These two things are the key to success with women. You can literally talk about ANYTHING. On my last date I was telling the girl a story about some used car dealership I went to and she was eating every word I said. High energy and confidence go a long way.

Think Big and work towards your goals. Every Sunday, I take about 30 minutes and reflect on analyze how I did this week and what I will do next week to get to my goals. Have goals and look at them every Sunday night.

Be a personality. Don’t be the kind of guy that doesn’t have an opinion and just stays quiet to not offend anyone. I’m not the kind of person that says things for attention, but I definitely don’t fly under radar.

Lesson Learned: Live life and reflect on what works, and do keep doing that. Remove anything that doesn't work.

Every once in a while I'll make a klutz move in social situations.

Once I fell among a mix of 15 men and women. Instead of staying quiet and turning red, I got up raised my hands high in the air and said:

"I'm alright, no immediate injuries... except a bruised ego." With a smirk on my face.

People laughed and the interaction moved foward. To boot, people's reactions to me were immediately warmer.

Another time I spilled cranberry juice on my shirt thanks to a drunk woman throwing her elbow around all willy nilly.

I looked straight up to the sky with praying hands and said:

"Thank you god, for never allowing me to have a boring day."
And then looked directly in her eyes.

Tingles for elbow girl, laughter for the rest. I fucked elbow girl that week.
