the term this fellow is looking for is "dysgenic fertility" - the pattern of phenotyp IQ dropping for - atleast - the last 1-2 decades.

it is argued that genotypic IQ has been dropping for atleast 100 years, but its effect was countered by improving education (thus overall rising phenotypic IQ).

people who lived 200 years ago in england had an average IQ of 115 - this is the average IQ of a mathematics/physics graduate today.

the evolution of feminism and the expansion have accelerated this process. but a generation of dumbfuck borns today only begin to affect societies in roughly 20 years.

expect to see an additional massive drop in average intelligence in the coming years.

I agree with the general idea of dysgenesis, though I am not sure how confident I am in this particular measure. RT and IQ are negatively correlated (lower RT = Higher IQ). Per the study, the correlation was found to be -.21 and -.31. This is pretty high for what it is worth, but isn't high enough to inspire huge amounts of confidence that it serves as a very good proxy for IQ (as opposed to an ok one).

besides, i am pretty fucking smart. my online reaction time is about 200-210 ms. the only way i can ever get below 200 is by more luck than "skill". now i dont know how this 180 ms RT was measured for the victorian times, and how it is supposed to be measured today (e.g. the mouseclick may add some delay). but i think its fucking impossible for modern people to get to 180 ms. except if you are a genetic mutant from china maybe.

e*: upon reading the comments again, im not so sure. i think a lot can be explained with the drop in T-levels of men.
