Hello,

whenever I'm on the internet, especially on subreddits like / r / skincare I get bombarded with ways to protect myself from the "harmful, cancer inducing" uv-rays and lectured about how they damage my skin and make me look older but in reality, I feel better, look better (and manlier) and have experienced decreasing acne / nothing negative at all after lying in the sun for 1-2 hours 3-4 times a week for a few months straight now. I think I'm generally happier as well. Coupled with NoFap and working out 3-4 times a week, the sun (and tanning beds) are the shit. I feel like a completely different person. And people notice and make compliments all the time.

TL;DR: I've been an extremely pale nerd for most of my life and had little to no uv exposure at all. I avoided the sun and especially tanning beds at all costs. Now that I expose myself to both ocassionally I only noticed benefits. Even though a Google search about uv-rays tells me they will cause skin cancer make me age faster and basically kill me.

What does this subreddit think about UV-ray exposure? Is the stuff I read blue pill nonsense or actually true?
