Summary: I cannot stress enough the power of visualization. It can help you achieve both very specific things or the overall strategy.
Body: Here it is again—I cannot stress enough the power of visualization. Read the Charisma Myth and the Power of Now. Now I'll go on a little rant that will hopefully be informative. The vision I have for my life is so powerful and compelling that even when I’m tempted—that vision is still there and helps keep me focused. When I’m really horny and accidentally think about porn videos I used to watch or high school babes I’d creepily look at pictures of. When I’m rationalizing my way out of a cold approach. That temptation to break frame, when I know I can ace it. These visualization techniques are a card up my sleeve that are so powerful in these moments, because they bring me back to the present where I belong when I’m not strategizing or campaigning. Olivia Fox Cabane explains this much more effecively than I ever could so read more about it there. These moments that I write about and that visualization can help with, aren’t just occurring at points of crisis—in fact they’re even more powerful when I am in the present moment and just reveling in the journey that my life has become. It’s a feeling of absolute bliss and power. A belief so strong that I’ve actually benevolently brainwashed myself into certainty that I am this person already. A Napoleon. in the making.
Now don’t get your wires crossed here because visualization is only powerful if, oh shit, you actually use it. I mean really use it as it supposed to be used (ie. in tandem with other skills). I forget the RedPill post or book I took this from [maybe someone recalls?], but it’s something along the lines of this:
Achievement is only possible with the confluence of vision, action, and discipline. You must have all three.
In this post I tried to give an idea of how visualization works for me [not the how, that's why you read those books ]. The action and discipline bases are covered pretty thoroughly elsewhere, but if you forget why you showed up to the ball game in the first place, what the fuck? what are you even doing?
Conclusion: This is my first post, and one that was really meant for my journal.
