Not always. Sure you can have surprise deadbeats and it’s no one’s fault but the dad. In cases of serial deadbeats, there is an aspect of “she should have known better”.

It’s just two sides of the same coin. If this guy is a deadbeat to two baby mommas already, am I going to be #3 and blame the man for being a deadbeat?

RP theory coaxed me into a bad person and then through self-reflection I learned that most bad people were once good people that went awry. Pretty hard to be harsh on others when they suffer from the same pitfalls you suffer from.

I don’t think it was the manosphere’s fault. Most of them were for abortion. Last I checked, they wanted women to have the right to abort so they could advocate for the right to financially abort

I don’t know if this helps, but in case it does: I’ve dated women that I didn’t find superficially attractive but I loved them for some sort of je ne sais quoi (thé way they made me think, feel, I don’t know - words suck) and strangely enough I began to find them attractive superficially after a while (even now I find certain physical attributes that they have attractive in other women even though I never liked them before) There is a YouTuber named Unnatural Vegan and I don’t find her physicall…

I think it’s just the bottom part of the sine wave that is progression. People go to the red pill when they hit rock bottom, and eventually they will climb out of it. The story of Jordan Peterson breaks my heart. When his celebrity status was limited to the inner circle of philosophy, he was at the forefront of 21st century philosophy (in my opinion). Then the issue surrounding free speech came about and he decided to take a stand. His stance was backed by genuine concern and because he put a lot of thought into it he brought to light the serious issues that the leftist position posed. Then he started to grow a fan base. In the beginning he stood for himself …

But the existence of these thoughts don’t mean that they’re the only reason they like you - or even that they are a reason they like you, for that matter I mean I think if a woman has been friends with a guy long enough, the thought of dating them would have likewise crossed their mind

I don't think you can attribute the reason he frames it that way to masculinity. I have a friend who does this thing - when she wants to do something, she'll frame it as someone else wants to do it and she's obligatorily joining in. Something like: "Sarah wants me to go to Starbucks with her". She never says something like "I want to go to Starbucks". Irritates the shit out of me but whatev. The way you describe feminists was an accurate description of myself when I first found TRP. It’s been years now and I’ve come a long way but sometimes I still feel that same fear. Every now and then I’ll see someone depressed and go out of my way to help them feel better because I’d always wish someone did that for me when I’m depressed. Most of the time this ends up flying back in my face.

You may be equating his opinion on your relative intellect to the value he sees in you. I think I’m smarter than my partner (if you asked them they would say they’re smarter than me lol) but I still love them irrespectively.

If he is a good man (I don’t know if he is) then it’s highly likely that he just can’t fathom what you’re going through. Political differences aside, it’s much more difficult for him to feel a sense of connectedness to the baby than it is for you (because it’s inside you). If he’s completely oblivious to the way you feel about the situation (which is what it seems like from the way you described his actions), his actions make sense. My point is that it is not necessarily the case that he had abu…

Just like almost everything in life, the red pill has both good aspects and bad aspects. It’s on you to scrutinize it for yourself in deciding what to keep and what to discard. What’s not good is replacing it with your brain and becoming a zealot.
/r/ExRedPill14/01/20 03:53 PM

I believe you, but your hierarchy of values don’t necessarily match everyone else’s; and from the looks of it, probably not RPW’s.
/r/RedPillWomen04/01/20 01:04 AM
1

Value is subjective. If you value hedonism, someone with higher self-control (or whatever) will be lower value to you. If want to attract a hedonistic person, you would act differently than if you want to attract a self-controlled person. You come here asking why you should be like these RPW without considering if you perhaps should be in the first place. If you want something other than the type of man RPW attract, the answer is you shouldn’t.
/r/RedPillWomen03/01/20 08:14 PM
1

Does not necessitate satisfying urges =/= requires not satisfying urges. I didn't say abstinence is always healthy, I said satisfying urges is not always healthy. ...which is all besides the point because (like I said) RPW is about attracting a certain type of man. It isn't/doesn't have to be for everyone.
/r/RedPillWomen03/01/20 05:52 PM
1

Taking care of yourself is part of being high value but this does not necessitate satisfying your urges. Just because you want something doesn’t mean it’s good for you. Sometimes taking care of yourself is abstaining from urge-satisfaction. RPW is a strategy about attracting a certain type of man. This type of man is not one who is looking for casual sex. Therefore closing yourself from casual sex increases the chance that the man you end up with will be that certain type of man RPW seeks to att…

I normally wouldn’t quabble about this but since you’re a PT you should know that your leanest picture is closer to 9ish percent. 5% bf is extremely lean. If you don’t see chest and delt striations especially under harsh lighting like that which you took your pic in, you’re no where near 5% (not to be facetious but there’s a massive difference between bf%s when you get down into the single digits). That’s still pretty lean though so good job.

When I first started out, the loneliness was very painful for me. However overtime I desensitized to it. Now I’ve noticed that I’m no longer desperate when I interact with women. I’m not chasing after just anyone just to not be alone anymore. Rejection doesn’t hurt as much because I’m used to being by myself. Although the pain still pangs from time to time, I wouldn’t go back to the way I was before for a second.

“Bad” and “fine” aren’t stand alone concepts. It depends on the goal. TRP is a sexual strategy focused on getting mena ton of sex. Polygamist instincts serve this goal. RPW is a relationship strategy focused on getting a high quality man to settle down with. Hypergamy works contrary to this goal. Of course these aren’t absolute, but at the end of the day it’s based on what you want. Hypergamy is good if you want to sleep around, polygamy is bad if you want to settle and start a family.

Honestly there’s a lot of truth about what they say here about women. Most women don’t understand themselves. Also, most men don’t understand themselves. TRP teaches men to garner meaningless sex from meaningless women and then these men turn around and wonder why they feel meaningless.

Admiration =/= intimidation. I don’t train with sport specificity in mind and certainly not equivalent hours, but even then it’s just an example. There are various feats that I’d admire someone for. “Do what they do so you don’t think it’s admirable anymore” isn’t a solution. Obviously you can’t perform at a high level at everything and I can admire someone’s accomplishment while having no care to do it myself.

Most of the things in TRP are tools rather than the truth. Ideas like “AWALT” aren’t pushed literally to get men to believe all women are a certain way, but rather to assume that they are a certain way because those assumptions better lend themselves to men not putting women on pedestals
/r/RedPillWomen18/07/19 03:26 PM

Yeah, it seems like it’s like that with every group. Most people become more concerned with the integrity of the group identity rather than searching for the truth.

It’s funny you mention this. I recently started a part time job with a supervisor that I’m pretty in to even though I don’t consider her attractive. Actually I’ve only really been attracted to about 3 women in my life so far - none of them on a physical level though.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/19 09:14 PM

This is true. The fact of the matter is that it’s easier to be led than to lead and most people live habitually rather than purposefully while using their feelings as their main decision making faculty - adults who tend to the former are akin to overgrown children irrespective of gender Fun fact: I brought this up in TRP and got downvoted to hell

When I said decency I was referring to my own standards of hospitality- ie. being like “I’m making eggs do you want some” or something. I didn’t mean basic human decency, as in refraining from picking her up and tossing her out the window. Also it’s really case specific. I make conversation with people daily - some of whom I don’t find attractive - just because. So me making conversation with a girl doesn’t mean much

Yup. You hear it a lot over at MGTOW etc. how attractive women don’t give some men the time of day but the truth is men don’t give women they don’t find attractive the time of day either. Show me a study. Again, you can’t prove a negative.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/19 09:46 PM

Let me be upfront. My opinion on n-count: it doesn’t matter. Any belief should be substantiated qualitatively or quantifiably. Appealing to widely held belief (by referring to it as “the prevailing narrative” like that means anything) doesn’t validate a claim. You can’t prove a negative.

Yes, you postulate a claim and I have to go disprove it. That’s how it works
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/19 06:56 PM

Your argument rests on “most men do care” which again is equally as assumptive. Stating “this is obvious” doesn’t give it any more grounding. My opinion is that your n-count only matters insofar as it matters to you and your partner, therefore broad speculation about what most men do or don’t care about is useless in this regard. If you’re looking for a “high n-count is good” or “high n-count is bad” opinion from me, you won’t find one. If I had some reason to believe one way or another, such as…

GVT is good. It has its place. Normally you'd do 8x8 or 10x10 for two compound movements and then do regular volume for accessory work. However if you're doing it right, you wont have much left in the tank for accessory work after the two main lifts.

To answer this question, you'd have to define what you mean by 'justified'. This would entail coming up with multiple scenarios and then labelling them based on whether you believe they should or should not illicit a response of anger. Then you'd have to come up with various qualities that would describe an 'average man' and an 'average woman'. After that, you'd infer from those qualities as to whether the 'average man' or 'average woman' would get angry in those given scenarios, tally them up, …

Logic is derived contextually. Looking for logic in the mere existence of anger is as flawed as looking for logic in the mere existence of a chair. Only when considering the pretext of the existence of a 'thing' does logic become clear. In the same way that, once learning of the construction process of a chair does its existence start to make sense, learning of the stimulus behind the response of anger allows it to make sense. By virtue of men and women being different, its reasonable to assume …

You're not wrong, but you are using a literal interpretation of the words 'strength' and 'weakness'. When I refer to strength in terms of dealing with emotions, I use it to mean 'emotional fortitude'. A man who is calm and reserved under pressure simply knows how to channel his anger in a way that prevents it from being too destructive. You'd think this would always be the case but it is not. Personally when I develop frustration with respect to someone, whether or not I do something about it depends on whether I feel it is important or not. If its someone I don't particularly care or its more likely or not a one-off, I'll brush it off. However if its someone I care about or something that I feel needs to be addressed then I will address it. Whether or not someone is capable of anger or simply efficient at channelling it elsewhere is tough to tell. If I were to use something as a measure, I would look at the drive the individual has when it comes to his approach to life. Emotions seem to be the sole, if not the strongest motivator for change in someone's life. In my case, much of my drive comes from being so fed up with the situation I grew up in. If the individual comes off as complacent, it may be that he simply lacks the emotiona…

One of the things that TRP likes to do is to paint life in broad strokes by using sweeping statements that attributes characteristics to large groups (ie. men do x, women do y). Though not without its uses, its utility declines as you move to deeper levels of analysis. It may be the case that in general men have more logically grounded anger stimuli than females, or it may not. However you'll find that in day to day life the truism of that fact is of little value. Just because it may be true tha…

Anger itself is an emotional response to some sort of stimulus. The response itself, as in the chemical reaction in the brain that causes the feeling, cannot be controlled; but the actions that follow can be. So yes, anger can provide a strong impetus for change but only if it is channelled in a productive manner. Learning how to handle the feeling is a skill in itself. One difference between a matured man and a boy (or any human, really) is in the way they manage their responses to the emotion …

Things are rarely consequence free. Remedies are there to put those affected in a similar position that they would have been if they hand been affected. To that end, I concede that some asset division is necessary. Extension beyond the required division by the system to punish the wrongdoer simply because he hurt someone else’s feelings isn’t justified because feelings are arbitrary.

It’s not emotional gratification. I struggle with caring in general, and during my relationships I only stuck with them because my women cooked, cleaned and drained my balls for me regularly. When I was single I thought a relationship would give me some emotional gratification, but whenever I entered into one I realized I was wrong. I think most of the resistance comes from wanting to avoid the downside risk. Its easy to speak in theory that "if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out", but in reality there's an amount of pain that comes with the rejection. Its the same with job interviews. Not getting a job you really wanted stings regardless of someone telling you to "let it go".

In regards to the sociopathic tendencies, I don’t think it’s just the current dating culture, it’s the culture in combination with the path of least resistance. It’s much easier to manipulate someone into being attracted to you via lying than it is to actually be the things you’re lying about (ie. easy to pretend to be rich than to actually be rich). It’s the same thing with feelings. It’s easier to force yourself not to care than to let yourself care and learn to be okay with things not working…

A lot of the hardwired female attraction that was helpful back in the more primitive times in terms of looking for the alpha is not as useful these days. I’m not planning on actually redeeming the favours; I wanted to plant the idea in her head that I’ve got a leash on her now. The whole “be boring and I won’t bother” bit was there to inspire the idea that she actually wants to be in my favour. Perhaps the compliment was a bit much, I don’t know. I usually say what I feel like at the moment and if I feel like complimenting her I don’t have an issue doing so. Compliments from me are rare in general anyway. I wonder if calling her smile crooked was…

It sounds like negotiation on paper but that wasn't the vibe we had when playing. Kino was decent. When I met her I brushed some shit she had on her face off and tugged on her hand to take her places. I got my CFA exam results back when she was with me and when I learned I passed I picked her up and spun her around out of pure joy. We also went skating and she held my hand because I can't skate worth shit. When we played pool it was clear that the favour was absolutely anything the other person …

Let me give you a quick run down of my last conversation: We played pool at a bar and made a bet that whoever lost owed the other 2 favours. I “won” the game because she sunk both the white and black ball but I let her think she won for a bit. Me: do you know what happens when you sink the cue ball with the black Her: I assume you lose? Me: I’ll collect my favours later Her: Nice try but I’m very sure I didn’t sink the white ball with the black one Me: Both favours (ignore) Her: oh I don’t think…

There are times where TRP attributes negative qualities towards women whilst completely missing that men also have these negative qualities. As for the 'fuck you over' bit, I don't know - why do women cheat? I wonder if the misogyny truly stunts their growth though. I think conceptualising women as these who don't know anything about anything helps men think they're better than them, which in turn makes them easier to be confident/dominant around women. Just a theory though.

It depends on the dynamic of the couple. Some couples work interdependently as a team and benefit heavily from such candidly open communication. As a sociopath, I don’t experience “love” in the colloquial sense. When I like someone, I just like having them around me all the time - kind of like a tiny kitten on your shoulder. Honestly “shit testing” is just part of flirting. You tease them to see how they respond. If they take your teasing seriously then they’re probably not all that fun. Who’s more fun to hang around: the guy who can take being poked fun at on the chin and throw some pokes back at you, or the guy who takes it to heart and gets offended? TRP makes this whole courting process seem super serious but at the end of the day it’s all just fun and games.

Wtf are you talking about. First of all this is just one guy. So don’t go thinking “men generally get abused by their partners” from this one post. Secondly, women also get abused by their partners. Some women end up dying because of it. A few years ago there was a sorry of a woman who’s husband poured acid on her, and another where another girl was lit on fire. “Endurance to bear this kind of abuse” wtf? I have more now than I ever did before, and the nasty feeling has compounded relatively. The reason I disregarded that abundance mentality was the reason was because I know that the solution is not to get more plates.
/r/askTRP19/02/19 05:23 AM
1

“Abandoning your logic for feelz” isn’t a rationale to justify instant gratification, it IS instant gratification - the very definition of it. I don’t think women are significantly more susceptible to instant gratification than men are, but even if they were it’s besides the point. Also consider that men and women succumb to the same instant gratification in many areas of life.
/r/askTRP19/02/19 05:18 AM
1

Perhaps, but not in the conventional way of thinking about it. So the solution isn’t clear. If abundance is obtained through more women, but more women exacerbates the problem, what do I do?
/r/askTRP19/02/19 05:15 AM
1

Instant gratification manifests itself in many different ways. It’s not just the “woman form” that’s retarded. One milkshake/cheat meal won’t do much, but if done repeatedly they will cause obesity such as the epidemic we see in the states. Men are equally susceptible to instant gratification and it’s harms.

Realism is a perspective people just adopt. It’s the easiest to adopt because it requires little real understanding of the other parties. You just assume they are self-interested and then backwards rationalize their actions - “she’s just clearly using me to further her own goals so I can’t trust her - AWALT”. This doesn’t speak towards whether it is “correct” or not. In fact, it doesn’t really matter. All that matters is if it is useful for someone to approach situations this way. For example, i…

/r/askTRP18/02/19 09:25 PM

Yes, but not everyone looks at human interactions as two self-interested parties coming to a compromise. To some, relationships are two parties with the same interests working together to achieve a common goal. In this perspective, always having one foot out the door can be have a negative impact.

You're conflating investment in one specific woman with investment in women in general. We don't condone 'chasing' one woman, so to speak. We encourage men to chase as many woman as possible. You diversify your 'investment' so you minimise your non-systematic risk - if one woman attempts to fuck with you, you don't care because you have other women to take her place.

This is a question I’ve been wondering for a while now. I don’t really feel sexually attracted to people so the “get bitches” bit doesn’t really do it for me. In law school I’m studying corporate law and when I graduate, most of my work will revolve around defending insider traders. Figuring out how to make otherwise illegal things legal is fun, …

The phrase AWALT exemplifies TRP’s tendency to hyperbolize. Naturally phrases that go along the lines of “all this are that” tend to be refutable unless they’re at least in part tautological. Although I’m sure there are some that believe that literally all women are like this, I’d like to think that most recognize this as hyperbole. Many phrases tend to be hyperbolized for simplicity’s sake, ie. “First time for everything”, “every rule has an exception”, “cats always land on their feet”, etc.

Sorry, RPW accepts what as true? TRP attempts to equip men to win over average/most women, and this type of woman is framed as hypergamous/branch-swinging. Whether or not the description is accurate is disputable, but this rebuttal: “most women aren’t like this because I’m not like this”, is not a strong one.
/r/RedPillWomen15/02/19 04:12 PM

You also have to recognize that you guys are divergent from the norm. Most girls (or people in general) use emotions as their core decision making factor, and this is what TRP teaches men to use to their advantage. However you guys consciously use logic instead. Also, they type of women TRP teaches men to win over are typically unsuitable for LTRs (as are most young women).

The purpose of TRP isn’t to tell men to spin plates. It’s to show men who want to spin plates how to do so. It’s not for everyone. Oneitis isn’t inherently bad and abundance mentality doesn’t require multiple women.

I’d say it’s the same issue I face as a guy. My best friend throws himself head first at women and then wonders why he’s single. In my opinion, the people need to get to the point where they recognize they need to change because what they’re not doing isn’t working. That’s when their eyes will open. Anything you or I tell them won’t change much because they don’t recognize the need to change. Development is very much something an individual must do themselves (in my opinion).

As you said, TRP is amoral. There is nothing that is taught simply because it is 'good'. Sociopathic traits are effective in today's society, which is why it is discussed so much. Ethics/morals are individualistic. Just like I wouldn't require you to follow my moral guidelines (ie. veganism), TRP doesn't push an arbitrary set of morals on men.

Most of everyone thinks they're above average (optimism bias). Guys that find TRP usually come shortly after being scorned in a previous relationship. The last thing these guys have is an over-confidence issue. Sure improvement takes time but again, that's nothing to be mad about.

I don't think this is a source of rage for most guys. Most guys don't think they're that great; and even if they did and have come to this realization, its pretty easy to improve. By contrast, there's nothing you can do about other people - hence the rage.

It’s not that you get less protein to work with. Whatever you eat, your body will absorb almost all of it. However what your body decides to do with the food you’ve given it depends on multiple factors. So it’s not that your body absorbs x amount of protein and then shits out the rest. The processes in your body have maximal rates due to bottlenecking factors. Take protein synthesis for example. Your body can only utilize so much protein for synthesis at a time (depending on the profile of the p…

Overcooking pasta or using too much spice effects how tasty it is. blahblahblah There`s …

Growing up I used to think sex was going to be the best thing ever, but after I had it a couple times I couldn't help but think it was underwhelming. I've also found the dichotomy between what people say they want, and what they really want (as dictated by their actions) to be jarringly stark.

People focus on the outcome of a situation way too much, and lose sight of the process as a result. When you go into a boxing match, you go in with a plan and the desire to do what you came to do. When you're in the ring, you're not worrying about whether you will win or lose - you're focused on executing your strategy. Then when the match is over, you recognize that winning or losing doesn't really matter as much as whether or not you did what you should have, and what you can improve on. At th…

Then you're not eating enough, naturally. You do realize that whey protein is one of the lowest calorie forms of protein out there? You shouldn't need whey if you're bulking. Figure out what your TDEE is, then add 500 to it and make a shake that is around that amount of calories. It triggers me when people mention testosterone levels. There is literally nothing you can do to ‘increase testosterone’ in your body permanently. Yes, masturbation cessation can cause a temporary spike in test but only if you masturbated regularly before that - and even then the spike is relatively negligible. It depends on what you’re running on. The harder the surface, the harder the impact is that is absorbed by your joints. So if you’re running outside on grass, that’s not as bad as running on concrete (which is what I assume most people do when they ‘go for a jog’). Running barefoot on sand for example, is really easy on your joints and is a good way to work muscles you don’t normally use. I don’t think a debate based on where to rightly apportion sympathy is particularly useful. I don’t think sympathy is particularly useful in general. It’s uncommon, but we see it whenever some guy decides “not to stick his dick in crazy” in the red pill forums or a girl recognizes red flags and doesn’t go for a guy in the RPW forum. I’d argue that the fun in dating only begins when you start finding people who are mature/self-aware enough to regulate their impulses with rationale. Otherwise you’re just dealing w…

Many women blindly follow their emotions and TRP takes advantage of this. Things like dreading are what conjure emotive responses in women, and in turn make them feel attracted to men. The better question becomes whether you would want a woman who falls for that stuff. If you dread someone, would you want the woman who goes "listen I love you but I'm not gonna put up with this shit" or the woman who feels jealous and shows you more attention to win you back? My answer is the former woman, whic…

Conversely, I think that many good traits that you'd want in a stable partner don't produce the tingles men/women look for, and so they ignore them. I wonder if the % is actually small. I've noticed that in the higher-level professional world such as law and business, women tend to be more self-aware. They have a better idea of what they want in a relationship and are less likely to stand for being mistreated. I wonder if much of what TRP teaches would work on them - I imagine it wouldn't be v…

Yeah. It doesn't just apply to romantic relationships either. It happens many times when people take someone under their wing and then the person outgrows them and moves on to better things whilst completely forgetting the benevolence shown to them originally. Even in professional settings.

I disagree, I think men and women have equal shares of bad apples. Men are just as susceptible to falling for women who are bad for them as women are susceptible to falling for men who are bad for them. Its just downplayed a lot. TRP isn't indicative of men as a whole; it takes someone who is at least attempting to become self-aware to find the TRP community.

In my experience, most of them can’t be fixed. Besides, even if they could be, I doubt they’d feel indebted to me like I imagined. It happens so many times in life where you lift people up and they go on to better things and forget you.

You’d only feel that way if you didn’t think of yourself as a high value male. Also as far as I know women stop become docile after menopause. I don’t think branch swinging is bad. It’s in my nature to constantly be on the look out for something better. I’m sure if you were with a woman and subsequently found another woman who better suits you than the former, you’d go after her. After you’re far enough over the hill, you stop caring about things in life as much and the hypergamy stops.

Yup. Guys do it too when they date someone with BPD. When things are good they’re great but when they breakdown it’s pretty emotionally abusive. It’s easy to look on from the outside and be like “why the fuck are you with them”, but unfortunately when you’re in the situation, emotions tend to blind oneself. Hence why people stay in abusive relationships whilst people on the outside say things like “just leave them, it’s easy”.

I think the issue is that attractive traits that men possess to the extreme become negative traits, but women still instinctually feel attracted to them. For example, extreme confidence may manifest itself in narcissism, but women may still feel attracted to the narcissist because they appear to be very confident. However we can agree that narcissism isn’t a healthy trait for a partner to have. Vetting a quality partner requires one to overrule their emotions with their rational facility. They n…

I mean one of the big TRP ideas is that women sleep around. Hence, we can all get our turn Also sex isn’t the goal. TRP doesn’t really prescribe a goal outside of self-improvement. If someone gets bashed because they’re ‘blue-pilled’, it has no correlation with the amount of sex they’re having. You can still be red pilled and not have sex if you wanted.

Your answer seems to then beg the question: were humans ever supposed to monogamous to begin with? Without marriage, relationships would be volatile for all but the top SMV men/women with women constantly jumping to a higher tree branch. Especially considering that if you look at it, marriage seems only to benefit men that could not otherwise hold a relationship down for an extensive period of time. Women who are with the man she wants to be with will be with him regardless if they tied the knot…
/r/TheRedPill09/12/18 07:15 PM

...so is it necessary? Or is there some other way we can achieve the same effect on women
/r/TheRedPill09/12/18 01:29 PM

Attraction by itself is a flimsy feeling. You can’t fault someone for being attracted to someone else regardless of their relationship status because it’s an instinctual reaction. On the other hand I think it’s something else entirely to say that she’s in love with another man - as in she is actively choosing to leave her husband/partner and go be with the other guy.
/r/TheRedPill09/12/18 05:05 AM
1

Just be direct and tell her what you want. For example, if you want to meet up, say “let’s meet up”
/r/askTRP09/12/18 04:56 AM
3

Is it then necessary for society to suppress women to the extent that they require the support of a man to ensure they don’t sleep around, as society were before? Also this doesn’t really answer the marriage question. If women were simply forced to stay in their marriage to protect their reputation, all this would have done is force women to remain in relationships they didn’t want to be in while they actually loved someone else.

If this is true, hasn’t the concept of marriage been dead since it’s conception? I read somewhere (might have been you, Whisper, iirc) that someone was trying to reconcile women’s behaviour by saying that traditional society’s set-up had it right. However if what you say is true - that women are always and only attracted to the next best guy - it seems as no form of society could make marriage work

I think TRP has a lot of gold nuggets, but when it comes to women it seems as though the notion is “women manipulate to get what they want so we will manipulate to get what we want”. It doesn’t really solve the issue that both parties are being manipulative to each other. Whether that is something that can even be solved or not is a different story

The nature vs. nurture debate definitely isn’t over yet, although it’s safe to say that the answer is somewhere in the middle. Just because women have naturally similar characteristics doesn’t mean they’re more nurture than not. We all have instinctual tendencies based on the roles we historically played in society. This doesn’t mean they can/can’t be overwritten through upbringing.

These are questions you answer yourself. Are you willing to settle for a lower HB to have sex? If no, then you're not missing out. If yes, then you are

TRP conceptualizes women this way because it makes them easier to deal with. Whether or not people actually believe women are this extreme is a different story

They shit test you. Whether or not it "breaks" you has to do with whether you allow it to break you or not.

You need to know how to be okay without having women or friends in general, so that when you go out to find women, you won’t feel needy

I have dated women who make more than me before. It rarely crossed my mind while seeing them, if ever. Now that I think about it, I prefer it.

That's why I said they use 'caring' as a means to tame them. It's exactly what you're describing in your second paragraph. When I said "a woman has a natural propensity to take care of a man", I didn't mean she does this out of the goodness of her soul. She does this to derive some sort of self-interested benefit - the same reason anyone does anything, ever. In this case, she takes care of him to encourage him to stay, like you mentioned. In short, I agree with you. My point was that the act of …

I decide on accepting points of view after vetting them. What does your point of that caring and taming not being the same thing have to do with my point that caring can lead to investment in a relationship?
/r/askTRP23/11/18 04:20 PM

Yeah it is. So is the false equivalency you pointed out
/r/askTRP23/11/18 04:06 PM

I mean just because something is natural doesn't mean it isn't bad. I think the issue with catching feelings is not having them returned. At least personally, I would have never had an issue with fostering feelings for a women if they always felt the same way towards me. Its when the feelings aren't reciprocated that it starts to suck. I'm having difficulty understanding how loving someone can be enjoyable irrespective of the sentiment being returned. As far as I understand, loving/being in love…

You're taking TRP to the extreme. What's the use of a gf if you can't get something as heavy as your dad's death off your chest with them
/r/askTRP23/11/18 03:37 PM

I'm not saying she wouldn't be less attracted to him, but women have a natural propensity to want to take care of men. Think about the typical relationship archetype where a woman gets involved with a bad-but-broken guy to try and fix him. Something like this, if done correctly, can trigger the woman's natural instincts to care. In this case, though she wouldn't get wet for him in this instance, if she empathised with him she would feel invested in him to a certain extent, which builds value int…

This is actually an interesting question. I’m of the opinion that when it comes to physical pleasure, esp with today’s toys and shit, you don’t really need a woman. On the other hand, the feeling when you fuck a real woman is much better. You can’t connect with a toy like you’d connect with a woman. But then at TRP it seems like we try to prevent emotional connection. I could be wrong though I don’t know
/r/askTRP23/11/18 03:05 PM

Generally you can’t increase test because test production is largely genetic. However you can prevent test inhibition by taking care of yourself - being active, eating right, sleeping well, etc

I don’t think that’s female nature, she’s just sociopathic. A normal person (man or woman) would have felt some sort of empathy. At the very least, there’s a friendship aspect to LTRs. Ya you’re fucking, but you’re also friends. Clearly this LTR lacked friendship

This post really threw me for a loop. I assume like most guys here, I found TRP after searching for answers/solutions to deal with a rejection from a oneitis. Reading this post helped me recognize that I did it to myself by giving out my love on the unspoken condition that she has to love me back. When I think about loving unconditionally the way you describe it, it sounds to me like someone who gives but never takes - kind of like a pushover. Then I realized that the reason this feels this way …

Yeah its tough. When it comes to being friendly, there's a balance between being too nice and being disrespectful that you gotta find. I don't even know what it is to be honest. BUT at the same time, being yourself is the best rule to follow. Honestly, it has to come from you and your own level of comfort. If you don't feel comfortable touching someone, don't do it. You'll come off as uncomfortable and she'll sense it. Also, why would you do that to yourself, that's just unnecessary self-punishm…

Ya man! Don't get discouraged; keep putting yourself out there. Love wouldn't be cherished if it came around easily. Keep doing you and people who like you will notice - just like you notice people who you like as they're doing their own thing. No point in wanting to be with someone who doesn't really want to be with you (you should also not want a relationship with someone you don't really want to date either) :) Edit: Damn dude, I just lurked your profile and it seems like you're really smar…

Well if you're looking for love, you're going to have to consider that compatibility is more a rarity than a commonality. Generally speaking, the majority of the girls you meet wont be a good fit for you or vice versa. As long as you're being your genuine self; if they don't want to pursue things further, it doesn't mean that there's something wrong with you. Even if they find you attractive, you just may not be for them. Similarly, if you went on a date with a girl and she was in to you but you…

Dates are a 'test period' where two people decide whether they are compatible with each other. This goes both ways - she's deciding if you're someone she's into and you're deciding whether she's someone you're into. Don't forget that she needs to pass your tests too. If you sent her a message and she's ignoring it (if that's what she's actually doing), you have to ask yourself whether that's a characteristic that you appreciate or not. Remembering that she needs to pass your tests too will give …

Continue to focus on whatever you were focusing on before you had feelings for her/told her you had feelings for her. I know, especially in your stage when the feelings are brand new, that it's really exciting. But you have to make sure that you continue to make your life about whatever your life is about, and not switch to making your life about the girl. If you were focusing on your school/career, continue to focus on that. If you were going to the gym or focusing on becoming healthy, continue…
