My ultimate pipe dream came true when I got accepted to one of the top law schools in the states this year. However since I'm across the border, tuition is out of this world and I get no governmental financial assistance. I've spent the last month or so constantly exploring possible opportunities to get the funds required to attend the school, but to no avail yet. Needless to say, this has been the most stressful time in my life I've ever been through.

I visited my undergrad university to see if they could help me out with my situation. Since it's out of town, I'd be staying at a hotel for the night so I hit up some old plates from back in the day, as well as my old oneitis to bring back to my room afterwards. Oneitis responded first. After having no luck with the university, I grabbed a bottle of my go-to bourbon and headed back to my hotel.

By the time oneitis got to my room, I was decently sedated. We had a short catch-up moment where I explained my situation to her. As I was explaining the situation, something snapped and I threw the glass in my hand against the wall, breaking it. Concerned about my current lack of control, I told her to leave.

I wake up to a pretty consistent steam of texts from her asking how I am/if I'm ok/to come over and talk blahblah. This is strange considering we rarely speak and she normally takes a day to get back to me via text (which is fine since I take like 3 anyway). She's never been so interested in me before.

What do you guys think has changed? I didn't really do anything. If anything, I'd argue that losing control was breaking frame but she's responded pretty well to it for whatever reason.
