Two men on my FB got into a heavy debate about this three days ago and by the end of it , everyone in Facebook land sided with the white knight and the other man using nothing but calm and pure logic was labeled " no different than someone standing there doing nothing while a women was being raped."

I saw reviews about it before seeing the actual ad, but when I saw it found it cheesy at best.

Still, I'm glad I'm using Shlick and won't switch to Gilette anytime soon. We get it Gilette, white men are pigs and the source of all evil in the world.

- Boys will be boys: no one ever said that while 2 kids were beating each other. It's something we say to forgive for some little wrecklessness.

- "what she is trying to say"... is it mansplaining? like someone said on a Youtube video, we don't know what she was saying. Maybe she said something totally stupid and he's trying to save her ass, which seems plausible given her face expression.

- I don't think men bully more than women. I think women are more likely to be bullied by other women than by men.

Perfect example of the ever more prominent feminine emparitive that Rollo Tomassi talks about.

Notice it's all white males in the commercial that commit the toxic acts. Never a minority. Wanna talk about the toxic masculinity in Islam for a minute ? Didn't think so .

The point is , abuse , harassment etc is all wrong and we know that. Abuse , harassment, bullying is all forms of effeminate - beta behaviour. What the feminine emparitive is doing , is taking these things and attaching them to the term masculinity and then "re defining " masculinity to not involve these things , when they NEVER did.

You can't re define masculinity when it wasn't defined as that in the first place.

But Jesus Christ showing the father breaking up the children in the yard play wrestling was just a prime example of the emparitive trying to make away with anything innately related to a mans testosterone. Children wrestling in the yard is ahealthy and natural process.

Anyway the backlash about the commercial isn't the message as much as what they're blaming it on.

Abuse , harassment, bullying is all effeminate beta behaviours that relate no where with masculinity but the emparitive wants to tie it to masculinity and then attack masculinity for it.

Just more division among the masses.

Maybe one of the female razor companies can do a new commercial on court rape ;)

It's not this ad in particular. It's just that this sums up what the media keeps feeding us, and we're sick of it.

All the TV shows, and movies nowadays that make out men to be either bumbling beta idiots being lead by women or some alpha misogynist Nazi rapist.

I think it was fine as a PSA or whatever. I don’t understand the backlash. I guess I can see how guys could feel like they’re being chastised and be annoyed.

Dumbass marketing move though.
