Have to admit the residual beta in me was thinking she won't ever talk to me after that.In the old days I would have been the one to say ''I'm sorry''. Luckily had a really busy day and she was was the last thing on my mind.So there was no urge to call and ask about what happened.I think the lesson to be taken from this is holding frame is important no matter how hard it gets

TRP in action. She was basically treating you as a dumping ground. You told her you didn't need that shit and walked out. She then counters with the phone call, basically trying to put a guilt trip on you. You then walked away. Next day she changes her tune.
Now I'm just left thinking is she trying to pull me back into the beta role.

Hidsight is 20/20. The same TRP principles apply to males also.
The purpose of most "conventional wisdom" is to maintain the status quo. Coneventional wisdom is great for the guy's running things. For this reason conventional wisdom usually fails for average joes like us :-) .
For myself looking back at my successes, it was either blind luck or defying conventional wisdom. But at the time I could not see this.
To clarify conventional wisdom is not the same as scientific principles. Picking up a piece of red hot metal with you bare hands will burn you :-) Just saying scientifically examine all conventional wisdom.

If she's trying to pull you back with sex then I think you should consider riding it out for as long as possible. Just because she's trying to pull you back in doesn't mean you have to let her and you're still getting sex out of it. Seems like a pretty good situation to me.
