When you find yourself stressed, ask yourself one question: Will this matter in 5 years from now? If yes, then do something about the situation. If no, then let it go.

There is a tendency to focus the internal management of stress almost to an exclusion of the external factors. Fact is stress is there to tell you something. Once you learn that it's not going to kill you, you can handle it like any other emotion. Mindfulness and the rest are useful, but here's the trick, they need to be a means to problem solving. The root source of stress is not knowing what steps to take to solve a problem.

i'm reading the obstacle is the way right now, i have it in pdf and audiobook and read it as i listen to it. i hope i can put it into practice, may need to read/listen to it a few times to really get it into my head though.

"70% of adults in US say they feel stresed" , i dont understand sometimes why post's have this kind of "its a fact" stadistics, 70% of adults in the US are fatass beta scumbags mcdonald lovers and netflixers who hate their 9-5 job, so obviously they feel "stresed". We are not trying to be them. Tension and hard times are ok if you have a balanced and intense life i tihnk.

I like Kava Kava in the evening before bed.

The next morning you wake up refreshed and in a good mood.

Don't use it during the day though as it kind of slows you down.

However, I find that sometimes if there is a very intense topic to read and that you might normally just get blocked by how complicated it seems that Kava Kava can help you push through and see the hard to grasp things more easily.

I'd be careful to not use it during an exam... it might work, but you might just get so relaxed you lose interest.

Generally keep it "to the side" of your main life.

Come to think of I'll do some tonight.
