Each and every post in here is pure gold
Don't know what forum you're referring to, but with the influx of manginas, white knights, and people using this place as their personal journal, each and every post is pure shit, with a few peanuts here and there.
Like your post, half good, i.e., read this book. But everything after that, mmm. Not that good. Like you conflating lift with go to the gym. Go, don't go, but lift. Your goals have nothing to do with the fact that you should be working out.
And there are better, more relevant tomes on frame. Such as Swinggcat, an old pua. His teachings on frame are "framed" in a way that more here would understand it, than a outdated book.

I agree with you here regarding the quality of posts as of late.
There ought to be a timeframe or karma requirement prior to posting here, I think. Better to address the problem before it becomes full blown - although the mods, admittedly, do a damn good job at trimming the fat.

Possibly comment history/score?
Also when people are going through their manic phase, I won't mention a name, and then posts 15 useless posts in a few short days, that are completely redundant, and partially should be in their private journal... Those should be deleted.

Had to restrain myself from writing a rant post to asktrp asking what's up with the influx of bullshit posts on the main. Mods need to sticky some new rules.

I'm pretty close to it myself. I will of course use a throwaway, because, can't attack integrity of the mods.

Yeah, while I enjoy many of the posts that have opened my eyes, there have been so many posts that make me go "What the fuck, how did this get so many upvotes?"
And that downvote proves it.

Unless an endorsed contributor or one of the vanguard makes a posts I generally don't read it because of the drop in quality as of late.

Well, to that end might a well just browse weekly, as those are not frequent.

Fuck, I hate posts like these. Look, the sentiment is right. I appreciate the effort but man you are just starting your journey. You don't know jack. That's not me being a dick, it's just truth.
Unbreakable frame is NOT I repeat NOT something you get from reading, working out, meditating. You get unbreakable frame by ACTIVELY going out and BUILDING it. Experience is king and it always will be.
I love reading, I read a lot. I spend almost an hour a day reading various books. TRP is nothing new, especially in oldschool psychology books you'll see a lot of the TRP concepts but it's just that CONCEPTS. TRP is not fully learned or really even the surface scratched until you live it.
You cannot know yourself until you go through different experiences, you have to have experience for you to understand yourself an even minute amount. I can tell just by reading this, you don't understand yourself. You think you do, but you don't. And that's okay, but don't expect TRP to do it for you. You still have to act.
I'll also note that what people perceive as "Frame" is wrong and ontop of that, I'd say what a lot of the shit that people post here is just mental masturbation and playing the victim card. Read the sidebar, read Rational Male and thats it. You're done with the subreddit. If you have a question, use askTRP but other than that you're done. Sticking around here, mentally masturbating yourself with the ideas and theories is just as bad as being a bluepill cuck. You cannot become an alpha by reading about it, you become it by life experience and realizing you can do whatever the fuck you want without consequence (most of the time).
I will mention this though, if you truly want to improve yourself you need to change your perspective. Easier said then done. I'm actually writing a book on this very topic, but I'll share a few things I have done that have had more impact on my success in life than TRP could ever have done beyond Rational Male and the sidebar.
Nature Walks -- Leave the phone at home, and walk a trail. Alone. Observe the world around you, watch the animals go about their day. Realize that they just live life, they don't ask questions or theorize needlessly. It's tough to explain, but once you spend enough time outdoors you'll see things in a different way. You'll have a way of thinking that captivates and an energy about you that magnetizes. You can learn an incredible amount about not only yourself but society in general if you observe nature.
Books -- Okay, you did mention how a book impacted you. That's great, but there's so much more to books then non-fiction. Fiction is actually a great way to open up your mind and see things in a way that most people don't. Start with classics, Ernest Hemmingway, Charles Bukowski, Roald Dahl (his adult books), Jack Kerouac and Herman Hesse. Books wrote by great men, books that will inspire you to live a life you always wanted. Books that will ground you.
It's too easy to get sucked in TRP, like most medicine one or two tablets is fine but take the whole bottle and you'll overdose. Stay grounded, learn who you are, experience life and the rest will fall into place.

You come in here, new to TRP and tell us that you should not focus on lifting first? It all starts with lifting, that habit and struggle transfers to all other facets of life. Lifting is the base of the house, without it you are just building a shitty house on top of it.
