Good Men,

The current state of the world, and the erosion of wholesomeness I have witnessed in my adult lifetime have caused me to reflect on my values.

This needs no long introduction, I have drafted the pledge (or oath) you see below. Have at it and let me know what you think. I have no expectation than anyone will actually take this pledge, but this reflects the promises I have made to myself. Perhaps it will give us all something to think about as we face the challenges that lie ahead.

I suspect many young men need such guidance, so with that in mind, I submit to you the following and welcome your feedback.

The Pledge of Masculinity

Whereas the foundations of Patriarchal Western Civilization have lost ground to collectivism, globalism, and feminism across the globe;

Whereas the customs, values, and cultural, moral, ethical norms that served as binding forces against tyranny and a beacon of freedom to all mankind have eroded;

Whereas men have been effectively caricaturized as cretins, fools, and scoundrels by globalist media, to the extent that these perceptions have entered the collective consciousness;

Whereas the myriad changes wrought by Globalists have relegated the Western male to the role of spectator, and consigned his paternal interests and authority to the State;

I hereby make the following pledge.

I swear by my life and my love of it:

  1. That I will never live my life for the sake of a woman, nor ask that a woman live for mine.
  2. That I will endeavor to continually improve myself intellectually, physically, and morally, and will make reasonable efforts to mentor and coach younger men to do the same.
  3. That I will develop an explicit written moral code, and will repeatedly study and inculcate it in myself, and will adhere to it to the best of my ability and in the truest spirit of integrity.
  4. That I will never vote for, support, recognize, or patronize any person, party, philosophy or organization that engages in behaviors that are abhorrent to my values.
  5. That I will offer neither assistance nor support to anyone based solely on their gender or race, nor will I actively discriminate against another person based on these same criteria.
  6. That I will refrain from ridiculing, shaming, insulting, or blaming men for enabling conditions that are beyond their control, or were the result of their indoctrination as a child.
  7. That I will remain vigilant against any notions of romanticism, chivalry, wantonness, or other behaviors or ideals that place men in a subservient or acquiescent status vis-à-vis women.

  8. That I will avoid any and all contracts, licenses, or written or verbal agreement – tacit or explicit - that have the effect of enslaving, usurping, degrading, or otherwise indebting me to another; to include marriage licenses, leases, loans, utility, and all other questionable agreements.

  9. That I will strive to gain deeper knowledge of the history of Western Civilization so as to better understand the conditions under which I live; and I will strive to better understand the ideological, religious, and cultural factors that have undermined my civilization and culture.

  10. That I will diligently study the Constitution of the United States of America, and will strive to better understand its vital importance to the citizens of the world; and I will uphold and defend it against all enemies, foreign and domestic insofar as my abilities allow, and that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same.

I take this oath freely and without reservation.
