Once more, how does this picture demonstrate guys who are faking "niceness" and feeling entitled to a woman? Too much of the content on their sub has lost the plot with their original intentions. Now it is just "men bad" and "men exposing the truth about sexual dynamics and women bad." I appreciate the founder of the sub /u/kevin32 for putting in the effort to make sure this sub is consistent with its original purpose. It could have easily lost that a long time ago without that consistent vision.

Women are indeed going to be naturally pickier than men, thanks to our sexual roles. A woman's investment to create a baby is at least 9 months, with her being the primary caregiver after birth. A man's investment can be measured in minutes. Therefore it is imperative for women to be picky to make sure that she finds a man who stays longer than his biological obligation demands, as a man staying and investing in the raising of the child will mean far greater success for the baby.

The problem we have today is that women no longer have the requirement to be extra careful about the man's desire to stick around and help with the raising of the child, thanks to our welfare state laws, child support laws, and other laws that make the man's desire to commit a nonfactor. But the woman's pickiness remains, only now she feels more free to be picky on more superficial standards while ignoring the character trait standards. This leaves out many hard working men who are marriage minded, while boosting the men who are physically attractive. This picture does discuss 6 figures, so earning potential is not completely ignored, but earnings does not mean that such a man is commitment minded.

Men, on the other hand, are going to be far more relaxed in their standards of looks, as men generally do not have the same luxury of being picky when it comes to that criteria. That does not mean there are no standards, but that they are certainly not as high as the women's are. This is a problem for the r-niceguys crowd as it demonstrates that men are not as superficial as they are made out to be and women are more superficial than they are made out to be. This very notion suggests that men who struggle in the dating world have legitimate complaints when they discuss how women are unreasonable in their standards and in how they are treated by many women in the dating world. This simply cannot be allowed, so it must be mocked. Who cares if it is correct, you must mock the wrongthink!

I'd say in general men are a lot less picky about women.

Women want

- Must be 6 ft tall

-Must be athletic and have a 6 pack

-Must have 6 figure income

-must be charming

must be funny

must be alpha

and the list goes on

Men want

-Must be somewhat attractive

-Must not be a ho
